Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, often referred to as the "God of Cricket," is one of the greatest
batsmen the sport has ever seen. Born on April 24, 1973, in Mumbai, India, Sachin became
a global cricket icon through his talent, dedication, and sportsmanship.
From a young age, Sachin showed an exceptional interest in cricket. He was inspired by his
elder brother, Ajit Tendulkar, who introduced him to coach Ramakant Achrekar. Under
Achrekar’s guidance, Sachin trained rigorously at Shivaji Park and soon started making
waves in the Mumbai cricket scene.
At the age of 16, Sachin made his debut for the Indian national team against Pakistan in 1989.
Despite a tough debut, he impressed everyone with his fearless attitude and strong technique.
