INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATE:
1. Do not write on the question paper
2. A separate plain paper will be provided for drawing.
3. Return the paper to the assessor at the end of assessment
4. Do not power the circuit without permission from assessor
5. Installation work shall be carried out according to I.E.E regulations

This paper consists of THREE (3) printed pages.


Candidate should check the question paper to ascertain that all pages are printed as
indicated and that no questions are missing.

ii. Programming device
iii. Electrical accessories
iv. Power supply
v. Equipment label
vi. Appropriate tools
Figure 1 shows a layout of a forward/Reverse automatic three phase induction motor
control system. Referring to the figure, carry out the following tasks:
TASK 1: Draw a wiring diagram.
TASK 2: Install the circuit for the forward/ reverse operation using PVC Mini-Trunking.
TASK 3: Write the program for the Programmable Logic Controllers.
TASK 4: Download the code to the system and test for functionality.
