Ria and her younger brother Aarav went on a nature walk in a nearby park. Ria showed
Aarav different plants and explained how plants prepare their food using sunlight,
water, and carbon dioxide. Aarav was curious and asked why some plants grow new
plants from seeds, while others grow from roots, stems, or leaves. Ria plucked a leaf
from a Bryophyllum plant and placed it in moist soil. After a few days, small plantlets
began to grow from the edges of the leaf. Aarav was amazed to see this and wanted to
learn more about how plants reproduce.
