Topic 1: Work and qualification of a Fashion Designer


To become a Fashion Designer, you must get some following qualifications and
required skills. In my opinion, it is the following.
Supporting idea 1: Education
Fashion designers can earn a Bachelor’s degree in fashion design. This degree
helps you easily apply for jobs at fashion internship companies. In addition,
candidates should have foreign language certifications to increase job
opportunities. Sewing, business, and fashion creative thinking skills are essential
for fashion work
Supporting idea 2: Eperience
Fashion designers often gain their experience in the fashion industry through
internships. Internships help us gain experience in the design process and build
knowledge of textiles, color and how the industry work.
Supporting idea 3: Important Qualities
There are some key qualities that you need if you want to become a fashion
designer such as artistic ability, communication skills, computer skills, creativity
anf decision-making skills.
Conclusion: To become a fashion designer, you need to have such qualification,
experience and some skills that make you suitable for this job.
Topic 2: Work and qualification of a merchandiser
Merchandiser is no longer a strange profession in the fashion industry. Now I
will talk about the work and qualifications of a merchandiser.
Merchandisers ensure that fashion products are planned, produced and delivered
on time. They monitor trends, manage inventory, work with suppliers and
collaborate with designers to meet customer demand.
To become a merchandiser, you must have a degree in Business. Key skills
include mathematics, negotiation, time management and communication.
Additionally, knowing how to use Excel and management software is an
advantage.
Additionally, gaining experience through internships or small jobs will help
your career grow. The biggest challenge is making quick decisions and adapting
to market changes.
With the right knowledge, skills and up-to-date information about the industry,
you can succeed in this field.
Topic 3: Report (delivery performance)
Now, I will report to you the delivery performance record. This report is used to
improve delivery performance./ labor productivity
We have 2 cases with the report:
Case 1: On May 31st, the shipment with order number 987987 was scheduled to
be delivered to the customer on June 3rd. However, due to weather-related
issues, the delivery was delayed, and the customer received the package 3 days
later than expected.
Case 2: On December 31st, 2024, the shipment with order number 123123 was
scheduled to be delivered to the customer on January 1st, 2025. However, the
customer was unable to receive the package as they were traveling. As a result,
the delivery was delayed, and the customer received the package more than 2
days later than expected.
To sum up, I have talked about the delivery performance record and the purpose
is helps improve shipping quality.

Topic 4: Meeting

If I were Thomas, I would run the meeting as follows. Firstly, I would welcome
the participants and introduce myself: "Good morning and welcome to the
meeting today. For those who don’t know me, I’m Thomas from the Sales
Department.
Today, we’re going to focus on the order you have made." Then, I would outline
the agenda by reviewing the order details, pricing, and delivery date. I would
address any questions or concerns raised during the discussion. As the meeting
progresses, I would say: "Time’s running out, and we need to draw things to a
close." Finally, I would conclude: "In conclusion, we’ve discussed the order
details, the pricing, and the delivery date. Do you have any questions or
concerns? Thank you once again for your time and consideration. We look
forward to working with you."
Topic 5: Spec sheet and actual sample
I have seen the actual product. Overall, the actual product has many differences
from the sample. There are 7 difference between the specification sheet sketch
and the actual sample of a coat. I will point out those errors then discuss how to
fix it.
The first dfr is the color, the sketch requires crimson but the color in the sample
is scarlet. So we have to change the fabric color.
The second drl is shoulder, the shoulder wild in sample is 24 inches instead of
20 inches. So, we need to take 4 inch off. And the sleeve length iss the same, the
specification sheet says 25 inches but the actual sample is 27, so we need to cut
it 2 inches shorter.
The forth dfr is wasit, the wais measurement is too small compared to the
design, it need to match the sketch specification, then I think we should let the
waist out by plus 6 inches.
Surely you see another difference, which is the button part, we need 2 more
buttons to make 6 buttons as in the sample.
Moreover, the collar is also wrong compared to the design, we need to change
the collar shape.
And the last difference I see is that the actual sample doesn't have a label, it
needs to be add the label as required in the sketch
So, those are the differences and how i fixed them, if you have any better ideas
please tell me, i would be very grateful.
Topic 6: Prepare for job interview
In order for the interview to go well, you need to carefully prepare a number of
issues. Today I will give you 5 tips to prepare for a job interview
Tip 1: you need to be well-rested. You need to be alert when you are in the
room, so that you are able to give clear and concise answer and maintain a hight
level of energy an enthusiam.
Tip 2: is about dress for the job. Please dress politely and suitable for the work
environment in which you are interviewing. It's the first impression so it's very
important.
Tip 3: Third job preparation technique is to clean up your online presence or
social media. Make sure you don’t have any incriminating photos or foul
language written on your wall.
Tip 4: Don’t be late. Let figure out where you are going. Its always good to give
yourself about 30 minutes of extra time.
Tip 5: Final tip is the most important one.. you need to practice interview
question, tailor your answer to the company you are interviewing with.
Topic 7: Problem and solution of working condition
In some companies there will be some unsuitable conditions for employees.
Through employee opinion surveys, solutions will be proposed to solve that
problem.
In the garment factory I am working at, I had to sit in a chair with no backrest
and no seat cushion. That's why I have a backache and it's uncomfortable to sew
the clothes. Additionally, this incident happened a month ago and caused many
people to have back pain. We then gave feedback to the supervisor. And from
there the supervisor will notify the director's office to resolve this issue for us.
Finally, my company changed all wooden chairs to chairs with cushions and
adjusted the height to suit each person's sitting position.
Topic 8: Garco 10
Garco 10 is one of Vietnam's largest manufacturing firms of textile and garment.
The number of employees is about 9000 people and this is an abundant source
of labor. Garco 10 has 18 factories in operation with an annual production
capacity of 21 million pieces.
The annual production growth rate increases steadily. In 2016. the annual of
Garco 10 growth 4%. But in 2018 the annual growth is 8%. The growth in 2018
was greater than 2016 4%. In conclusion, Garco 10's annual growth rose
gradually from 2016 to 2018.
This development will help many unemployed people get jobs and increase
labor productivity and production for Vietnam.
