Zaka is a community driven AI education, consultancy, and
team augmentation startup that aims to provide the proper
Artificial Intelligence (AI) awareness to the community in
the region to prepare them for the new technological era
and build a vibrant MENA AI ecosystem. Zaka is on a
journey to democratize Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the
MENA region and globally through sharing knowledge,
building solutions and connecting people!
In AI education, we curate courses and training to best fit
our customers’ industry and workforce. We focus on
culturing a practical delivery of knowledge to allow our
customer to exit the learning experience with the
knowledge and, most importantly, the skills to grow while
working on versatile AI projects.
WHAT IS ZAKA
AI BOOTCAMP?
Data science is one of the most growing fields in the industry today,
with Artificial Intelligence (AI) being one of the most attractive skills
a professional can possess.
To assist in introducing participants to the vast field of AI, we
present Zaka AI Bootcamp, that would provide participants with the
necessary basic knowledge and hands-on skills needed to get
started in AI. Each day of the bootcamp will build on introducing
participants to a new branch of AI such that they leave the
bootcamp with a wide set of capabilities.
The topics covered include:
1. Machine Learning
2. Deep Learning
3. Computer Vision
4. Natural Language Processing
5. Time-serie Analysis
You will leave each week with a full AI project in a new area,
complete the bootcamp with developing a project of your own, and
learn all you need to kick-off your journey in AI.
The bootcamp is compact and focused on providing the knowledge
needed for participants to start in the field while ensuring that
participants gain the skills they need to continue in advancing their
skills and expertise.
PROGRAM
OVERVIEW
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Bootcamp engages participants in
hands-on sessions, where information is delivered through projects
and live coding practice during the session. Moreover, participants
are prompted and shown how they can research and choose the
correct tools for a given problem space. This ensures that participants
not only adequately learn what they are taught during the program but
also possess the qualities needed to build future projects that may not
directly represent the information they were taught during the program.

PREREQUISITE
● Basic programming foundation (in any language)
● Basics of descriptive statistics (you are familiar with terms such
as 'average', 'median', 'histogram')
AUDIENCE
This AI Bootcamp is suitable for participants of all backgrounds given
they are comfortable with programming. We recommend this program
for audience who are:
● Looking for an introductory course in applied AI in order to
innovate in their line of work/studies and help transform their
organization/career path.
● Seeking to discover new technology advancements.
● Aiming to prove their knowledge and experience through
certified programs.

1. WHAT DO YOU OFFER IN YOUR ONE WEEK BOOTCAMP?
The AI Bootcamp is compact and focused on providing you with the knowledge you need
to enter the field while ensuring that you gain the skills to continue in advancing your
knowledge and expertise. Unlike programs that focus on theory, Zaka focuses on
hands-on training, where you are expected to actively program solutions to solve
real-world challenges with the support of your instructor.
2. ARE THERE ANY PREREQUISITES TO ATTEND THE BOOTCAMP?
You just need to have an understanding of programming foundations and in any
language. A passion to learn is a plus! During the bootcamp, we will be working with
Python. If you are not familiar with Python, you will get access to Python practice
modules that will help you familiarize yourself with the language before the start of the
bootcamp.
3. WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT DURING THE PROGRAM?
Our AI Bootcamp is a virtual program. You must be able to attend online training
sessions for 11-12 hours/week for 3 weeks and you will be expected to complete a group
project in the final week. Keep in mind, the more you are dedicated to the learning
experience during the program, the more you will get out of it.
4. CAN I ENROLL IF I DO NOT HAVE PRIOR KNOWLEDGE IN ARTIFICIAL
INTELLIGENCE OR MACHINE LEARNING?
Yes, you can! This AI Bootcamp is designed for absolute beginners in the field with only
requiring you to be comfortable with basic programming concepts. The bootcamp will
walk you through the fundamentals and tools you need to get started in Artificial
Intelligence and Machine Learning.

5. WHAT WILL BE COVERED DURING THE BOOTCAMP?
We will cover various topics including Data Science and the Python ecosystem, Machine
Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and
Time-series Prediction. Every day covers a different topic starting with theory and
building on the theory with interactive coding sessions. You will leave every day of the
bootcamp with a new AI project in a unique area. You can check the syllabus for more

6. WHAT WILL I BENEFIT FROM THE BOOTCAMP?
Within a short time, you will be able to understand and build projects on various AI topics.
You will get valuable hands-on experience in Data Science and Machine Learning. You
will be able to leverage, integrate, and advance the knowledge you gain within your
current field of work or studies.
7- WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE & EXPERIENCE LEVEL IN A TYPICAL
BOOTCAMP?
The age range in our bootcamps usually ranges from 18 to 50+ years old with varying
levels of experience, ranging from fresh high school graduates with very little experience
to managers with 20+ years of experience.
8. HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ATTENDING THE BOOTCAMP
WITH ME?
We have a limit of 50 participants per bootcamp, and we typically sell out of seats a few
weeks before we start.
9. WILL I GET A CERTIFICATE FROM THE BOOTCAMP?
Yes, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Zaka.
