I. FAMILIARIZATION OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINE

II. OBJECTIVES

1. To be familiar with an agricultural machine and implements;


2. To discuss the use and classification of agricultural machines and implements;
3. To discuss the general component parts and function of an agricultural machine; and
4. To make a drawing and explain briefly an agricultural machine.

III. ACTIVITIES

1. Identify the agricultural machineries provided below. Know the use of the machine
and determine where it is being used. Classify the machine whether it is used for land
preparation, transplanting, cultivation, production or post- production operation.
2. Select one agricultural machine given. Familiarize yourself with the machine you
selected. Look on the various component parts of the machine and observe how these
parts function.
3. Identify the different components of the machine and describe their function(s).
4. Make a simple sketch of the machine and identify its different components.
5. Make a brief description of the machine.
