Login & Registration (Mobile application)

Overview
This document is the user manual for login and registration for users – Relationship managers, RAC
Heads and Branch managers.

Registration & Login Procedure

To Onboard a New User, user follows the below mentioned process.

Action 1: Download the Application ‘IndConnect’ from intranet network of the Indian Bank and Open
the application

Open the application ‘IndConnect’ and click on the app icon. It opens the application; user will be
taken to splash screen for 2 seconds and will be directed to app introduction which user can see in
three steps by clicking on forward arrow ( → ) or user can skip by clicking on ‘Skip’ button

Action 2: New User doing registration Clicking on either ( → ) or ‘SKIP’ user will be taken to login or
registration screen. New User clicks on ‘REGISTER’.

Action 3: New User doing registration – Entering Employee ID and CBS Code.

On clicking ‘REGISTER’, user will be taken to screen where user have to put Employee ID and CBS
Code. User shall accept Terms and Conditions by clicking on the checkbox and will click on ‘GET OTP’.

Action 4: Validate New User through the OTP

On clicking on ‘GET OTP’, user is directed to verification page where user have to enter the OTP sent
(if auto-read OTP option is not enabled) or OTP will get auto-read (if auto-read OTP option is
enabled). The OTP is sent on user’s registered mobile number in the system. If user faces any issue in
getting OTP on user’s registered mobile number, ‘RESEND OTP’ button gets active after 2 mins.

Action 5: Validating OTP for registration and Approval from higher level

On clicking ‘VERIFY’, request for registration is sent for approval. A splash screen will appear which
shows the Request Sent successfully, after which user is taken to the screen where the two-level
request approval status is being shown. If the approval is pending in any of the level, user can check
that through this screen and will directly land on this screen after clicking on register button and
following the actions as mentioned above.

Action 6: Login with temporary password

After the approval from admins, user will receive a temporary password on the mobile number. On
clicking on ‘LOGIN’ button, user is taken to a screen where user shall put Username (Employee ID)
and temporary password sent to registered mobile number

Action 7: Creating New Password

On clicking on ‘LOGIN’, user is taken to screen where user can create a new password. User must set
a new password according to the password policy mentioned below and user has to confirm the new
password by re-entering it.

Action 8: Quick login setup

On clicking ‘CONFIRM’, user is taken to the screen where there is an option to setup quick login
methods such as Biometric and MPIN. User must confirm the inputs. User can use these options for
quick login in subsequent login attempts.

Action 9: Login through password or quick login methods

As the user is registered, whenever the user opens an application user can login through the quick
login methods user has set for himself/herself while registering or user can login through the
password created by himself/herself.

Action 10: Forgot password

If a user forgets the password, at that time, user is taken to screen where user must put Employee ID
and get OTP on registered mobile number, after which user can create a new password and login.
