& airless blasting machine. Embarked on its journey of surface preparation on the surface of
oasis of Rajasthan. ABRABLAST aroused as a pioneer in the arena of designing &
manufacturing of shot blasting and shot peening machine with media conveying dust collectors,
painting & baking rooms and there accessories. Around two decades before ABRABLAST
started manufacturing of blasting machines commonly used low cost machines & roused to
supply custom oriented machines with robotic orientations. ABRABLAST is ISO 9001:2015
Certified Company. After assessing the market potential in the shot blasting field, company
started its operation by fronting its products as low cost products against the giant international
rivals.
The Continuous research by agile & qualified workforce continuously improved and innovated
new custom built machines for different industrial applications in the field of Aerospace,
Railway, Defence, Shipyard, Tyre, Power, textile, Surgical, Automobile etc. The custom built
machine with full or semi automation with latest technology development are being supplied.
After continuous improvements in the product quality and customer satisfaction level, the
company today has become the largest player in the Air Operated Shot Blasting Machines and
one of the largest in the Turbine type (Airless) Shot Blasting Machine. Today, the company has
achieved substantial presence in the Middle East, South East assistance to its valuable

About Company
Tucked in the industrial zone of Jodhpur, stands the neatly kept manufacturing facility of
ABRABLAST EQUIPMENT PVT. LTD. The lush gardens, spotless premises and the absence
of any telltale smoke; the production unit churning out varieties standard and custom built
Air/Shot Blasting Machine, Shot Peening Machines, Dust Collectors, Blast Rooms and
intermediates.
ABRABLAST was established in 2015 under the leadership of Mr. Prem Singh Rathore as a
Managing Director in the field of manufacturing air operated shot blasting/peening machine. In
2015 Company was accredited with ISO 9001:2015, with speak about our quality systems with
our constant efforts to achieve Quality. We are also planning for OHSAS1800 with constant
improvement & developments in product quality a feather was inducted in the crown of
ABRABLAST with 'CE' marked accreditation.
ABRABLAST works closely with its customers to develop new applications to improve their
product quality, manufacturing efficiencies and reduce overall costs. Currently, ABRABLAST
focuses on Surface Finishing Technology for the automotive, aerospace, ship building, foundry,
casting, electric, electronic industries etc and has a range of quality products for Blasting,
Cleaning etching, Deburring, Degreasing, Descalling & Shot Peening Applications.

ISO 8501-1:2007(E)
ISO 8501 consists of the following parts, under the general title Preparation of steel substrates
before application of paints and related products – Visual assessment of surface cleanliness
Part 1: Rust grades and preparation grades of uncoated steel substrates and of steel substrates
after overall removal of previous coatings
Part 2 : Preparation grades of previously coated steel substrates after localized removal of
previous coatings
Part 3 : Preparation grades of welds, edges and other areas with surface imperfections
Part 4 : Initial surface conditions, preparation grades and flash rust grades in connection with
high-pressure water jetting

Metallic surfaces according to ISO 8501 are classified into the surface
“rust conditions” A - D.
Blasting transfers the surfaces to a condition classified Sa 1 – 3.
The specification B Sa 2,5 means: condition before blasting: B

Sa 1 When viewed without magnification, the surface shall be free from visible oil,

Sa 2 When viewed without magnifications, the surface shall be free from visible
Through blast-cleaning oil, grease and dirt, and from most of the mill scale, rust, paint coatings and
foreign matter. Any residual contamination shall be firmly adhering.
Sa 2½ When viewed without magnification, the surface shall be free from visible oil,

cleaning Any remaining traces of contamination shall show only as slight stains in the
form of spots or stripes.
Sa 3 When viewed without magnification, the surface shall be free from visible oil,

clean steel foreign matter. It shall have a uniform metallic colour.
