*Definition of Tense—Tense is Time. (Kaal)

*Types of Tense (Kinds of Tense)—There are three types of Tenses—


(1)Present Tense (2) Past Tense (3) Future Tense.

*Parts of Tense-- There are 12 parts of Tenses—

(1) Present Indefinite Tense---- Verb—V1st Help Verb--Do (Plural No. & I) Does (Singular No.)

(2) Past Indefinite Tense----Verb—V2nd (affirmative, who) & V1st (Neg. Interrogative, Who+not)
Help Verb—Did (Neg. Interrogative, Who+not)

(3) Future Indefinite Tense----Verb-V1 Help Verb—Will (Others-Subjects), Shall (I & We)

(4) Present Continuous Tense----Verb-V1+ing Help Verb—Is (Singular), Am (I), Are (Plural)

(5) Past Continuous Tense----Verb-V1+ing Help Verb—was) (Singular& I), were (Plural)

(6) Future Continuous Tense----Verb- V1+ing Help Verb—will be (Others-Subjects), Shall be (I &
We)
(7) Present Perfect Tense----Verb-V3 Help Verb--Has (Singular), Have (Plural& I)

FORMULAS
(1) Present Indefinite Tense

Affirmative Sentence – Subject+V1(s/es-singular)+Object.


Negative Sentence – Subject+ do/does+not+V1+Object.
Interrogative Sentence (1st Type)– Do/Does+ Subject+(not)+V1+Object?
Interrogative Sentence (2nd Type)– Question word+ do/does+ Subject+(not)+V1+Object?
Sentence of Who-(Who is a Subject & does work. Who is Singular No& Plural No both)
