Day Wise Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVE IN KATHMANDU TRIBHUVAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT & BUDHANILKANTHA


Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Welcome, meet, and be assisted by our
representative & hotel in Kathmandu. After Refreshment travel to Budhanilkantha Temple (Jal Narayan
Temple). Evening will be at your leisure.
Budhanilkantha:, Also known as Jal Narayan, is a significant religious and cultural site located about 8
kilometers north of Kathmandu, Nepal. It is renowned for its impressive statue of Lord Vishnu in his
reclining form. The central feature of Bhudhanilkantha is the massive stone statue of Lord Vishnu, known
as Jal Narayan or "the reclining Vishnu." The statue depicts Vishnu lying on the serpent Ananta (Shesha),
with his face turned slightly towards the right and his feet resting on a lotus. This depiction symbolizes
the god's role as the preserver and protector of the universe. The statue is believed to date back to the
7th century and is considered one of the largest and most important examples of its kind in Nepal. It is a
popular pilgrimage site for Hindus, who come to pay their respects and participate in various rituals and
offerings.

DAY 02: DRIVE TO POKHARA VIA MANAKAMANA TEMPLE


Breakfast at Hotel & drive to Pokhara observing the scenic view on the national highway along the Trisuli
River In-route can visit Manakamana Temple by using cable car to reach over
there. After Pooja and darshan drive to Pokhara upon arrival, check into the hotel with the best
hospitality. Evening walk around the Lake Side and Barahi temple and enjoy the view of western
Himalayan ranges with Mt Fishtail. Return to hotel and overnight at hotel.
Manakamana Temple: Named the Manakamana Devi temple after the incarnation of Bhagawati, who gra
nts the wishes of pilgrims of deepest purest heart, according to the Hindu tradition.
The temple rests on a 1300-meter hill, west of the city of Kathmandu. Like many other hill top temples,
Manakamana Temple also overlooks the Marshyangdi and Trisuli rivers.

DAY 03: POKHARA CITY TOUR & PUMDIKOT SHIVA STATUE:


After breakfast, proceed for Pokhara local sightseeing of the following:
• Barahi Temple & Phewa Lake
• Bindabasini temple
• Devi’s Falls & Gupteswor Cave
• Seti Gorge
• Pumdikot Shiva Statue
After sightseeing, drive back to the hotel. One can self-enjoy evening walks at lakeside or explore the
markets of Pokhara in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Barahi Temple & Phewa Lake: Significant Hindu temple located on an island in Phewa lake in Pokhara,
Nepal. Dedicated to the goddess Barahi, an incarnation of the goddess durga, the temple is a major
pilgrimage site and a popular tourist attraction. It features a two-story pagoda-style structure and offers
stunning views of the surrounding lake and the Himalayan mountains. The temple is accessible by a short
boat ride across Phewa lake, adding to its charm and significance.
Bindabasini Temple: Prominent Hindu shrine located in Pokhara, Nepal. Dedicated to the goddess
Bindabasini, an incarnation of Durga, the temple is situated on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of the
surrounding area. It is one of the oldest and most revered temples in the region. The temples in the

which flow through the gorge, have eroded the rock over time, resulting in impressive cliff formations
and a powerful visual spectacle. Visittors can view the gorge from several vantage points, including the
seti river viewpoint and various bridges. The gorge is popular among tourists for its unique geological
features and the scenic beauty of the surrounding landscape.
Devi’s Falls: Known as Patale Chhango, is a popular natural attraction located in Pokhara, Nepal. This
impressive waterfall is renowned for its unique and dramatic feature: the water cascades into a deep,
subterranean hole, which then flows underground. The phenomenon creates a powerful, constant roar
and contributes to the mystical quality of the site. The falls are named after a tragic incident involving a
swiss couple who drowned in the waters in the 1960s, but the site remains a favorite amount tourist for
its natural beauty and intriguing geology.
Pumdikot Shiva statue: Significant cultural and religious monument dedicated to Lord Shiva. This
impressive statue is notable for its size and artistic details, attracting both pilgrims and tourists. The site
often serves as a spiritual destination, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

DAY 04: DRIVE TO KATHMANDU


After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Once arrive in Kathmandu, Drive to Hotel and check in.
Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel.

DAY 05: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING:


After breakfast, proceed for Kathmandu local sightseeing of the following
• Pasupatinath temple
• Bauddhanath Stupa
• Swoyambhunath Stupa
• And Patan Durbar Square
Evening: self-explore the vibrant Thamel neighbourhood, known for its shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
Overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.
Pashupatinath Temple: Is a significant Hindu temple located in Kathmandu, Nepal. It's dedicated to Lord
Shiva, one of the principal deities in Hinduism, and is considered one of the holiest temples for followers
of the religion. The temple is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River and is renowned for its stunning
architecture, intricate carvings, and vibrant atmosphere. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reflecting its
cultural and historical importance. Non-Hindus are generally not permitted inside the main temple area
but can still explore the surrounding areas and witness the lively religious activities and rituals from the
outside.
Bauddhanath Stupa: Also known as Boudhanath Stupa, is one of the largest and most significant stupas
in Nepal and a major pilgrimage site for Buddhists. Located about 7 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu's
city center, it's a key center of Tibetan Buddhism and an essential destination for both locals and
international visitors. The stupa is an immense mandala with a massive, white dome and a golden spire.
The eyes of Buddha painted on the stupa symbolize wisdom and compassion and watch over the
surrounding area from all four directions. The stupa's design is intended to represent the universe. The
stupa's origins are ancient, and it is believed to have been built during the 5th century. It has been a
center of Tibetan culture and religion for centuries, especially after the influx of Tibetan refugees into
Nepal in the 1950s.
Swayambhunath Stupa: Also known as the Monkey Temple, is one of the most famous and important
religious sites in Nepal, located atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Swayambhunath is believed to have been founded more than 2,000 years ago, making it one of the
oldest religious sites in Nepal. The central structure of Swayambhunath is a large white dome (the stupa)
with a golden spire on top. The dome represents the universe, and the spire is crowned with a pinnacle
of thirteen steps, symbolizing the path to enlightenment. The stupa's hilltop location provides panoramic
views of the entire Kathmandu Valley, making it not only a spiritual destination but also a popular tourist
spot.
Patan Durbar Square: located in the heart of Lalitpur (Patan) in Nepal, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
known for its stunning architecture and rich history. It features a collection of temples, palaces, and
courtyards, showcasing the artistic prowess of the Malla kings. Krishna Mandir: A beautifully carved
temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, renowned for its intricate stone work. Patan Museum: Housed in a
former royal palace, this museum showcases a vast collection of traditional Nepalese art. Bhimsen
Temple: An important temple dedicated to Bhimsen, the god of trade and commerce.

DAY 06: DEPARTURE


Free until you are transferred to international airport for onward journey with great experience of
Nepal’s tour.
