SOCIAL CLUB

Part 2: What do you like to do with friend and where do you go?

 I enjoy hanging out with friends at coffee shops, shopping malls or

going to the cinema. We often chat, share stories or play board games
to unwind after hard working.

Part 3:

A: Where did you meet your friends for the first time and how did
you become friends?

 Hi, Nice to talk to you, I first met my friends in the first year of
university during a group project (dự án nhóm). We started talking
more while working together and discovered we had a similar interests.
Over time, we spent more time together, shared experience, and
gradually become close friends.

B: I have just moved to the city and want to make some friends. Can
you give me some advice?

 Hi B, thanks for your interesting question. You can join clubs, attend
local events or take part in community activities to meet new people.
Don’t be afraid start conversations. Be open, friendly and showing
interest in others will help you make friends more easily in a new city.

C: It’s much easier to make new friends these days because of

computers and mobile phones. Do you agree? Why and why not?

 I absolutely agree with this opinion because computers and mobile

phones allow people to connect easily through social media or
messaging apps. We can meet others with similar interests online.
However, build real friendships still requires effort, trust and spend
time together in person (trực tiếp)

Part 4: You are a member of a social club. You received this email from the club.

Dear members,
We would like to organize some monthly face-to-face meetings. We would like your
suggestions about when and where we could meet. It suits both young and older people.
Please send us your suggestions and your reasons.

I suggest we meet on Sunday morning at a local community center. It’s a convenient time for
both working adults and retired members. The center is easy to reach (tiếp cận) by public
transport and enough space for group activities and discussions.

PART 4: Nowadays more and more new words and phrases are added to the language, so
many people have strong reactions to this issue. Some people gladly accept, others argue
