1. Introduction
“To be inspired a great but to be an inspiration is an honor”
The function of a leader is to produce more leader rather than followers.
A leader is like a Shepherd, he stays behind the folk letting the most nimble
go ahead. The lord is my strength and my Shield. My heart trusts in him because
he helps me. My heart leaps for joy and with my song I praise him. [psalm 28: 7]
Great and pleasant morning to one and all gathered here. it's our honour and
privilege to have our correspondent Rev Fr. B. Antony for the Guest of Honour for
the day, our beloved principal sister Reshma, Vice Principal, sister Sarita, teachers
and loving students, let our young and dynamic leaders escort the dignitaries to
the Dias on this auspicious day to celebrate the investiture ceremony 2024 –
2025.
A traditional feature of St Anne’s Matriculation school has been always
awaited by all the people of our school. Years after years, it reminds as the vision
of our pattern to create loyal citizen with love for god. Whoever steps into this
campus, must be filled with trust, confidence and fear of God that we response in
our newly elected cabinet donning the mentle of responsibility by pledging their
duties, Obeying the rules and regulations of this institution exhibiting love and
reverence to parents and honour for the Nation.
The students are the torch bearers of tomorrow therefore moulding them and
constructing in them a sense of self respect, self discipline, the tolerance to care
for others and extremely pertinent the purpose of education is to make human
beings fully grown with wisdom to judge between right and wrong. It illumines
mental ability to reason out, things before whatever one does. The main objective
of education is, at home or at school is, to transmit this culture of society to its
Young.
This is inaugurated by both, for a bright future, as the new leaders get ready to
be invested. Dear teachers and fellow peoples, we welcome you all to the Great
event of investiture Ceremony of our school during the start of this academic year
2024 – 2025, along with our honorable correspondent, our principal, our Vice
Principal and other members of St Anne’s family.

Those who realize this fact are true Devotees of love. Our devotion to God
never beings without the presence of light, which is the presence of divine
himself. I kindly invite Guest of honour, the correspondent of our school Rev. Fr.
B. Antony , sister Reshma our principal, Vice Principal sister Sarita, school people
leader miss Asha and class representative master…………………to light the lamp.
4. Prayer Introduction
Prayer is not asking. Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of god at his
disposition and listening to his voice in the depth of our hearts.
Let us all unite our minds and souls in the presence of God to seek his love
and blessings. We invite our teacher to lead us into prayer.

Response - Thanks to be God.
Dear God Almighty, creator of all things on earth. We praise you, we thank
you, and we adore you for all that you are to us especially for this hour. We thank
you for your love, care and guidance. This day is being made a special one for all
of us, as we take great responsibility of leadership. We thank you for the leadership
qualities in us, which makes us leaders. We promise that we are willing to be good
leaders, please feed us God with your wisdom and understanding for our good and
good of all whom we serve. Lead us to be people of promise to our duties, faithful
to our responsibilities. Give us wisdom to understand and cooperate with our
teachers, friends and do all our duties in responsible way. At this hour, dear God
we are willing to be blessed by you and be a blessing to others. Thank you God for
guiding every step we take. Amen.
6. Welcome Speech
Sweet Words can be short and easy to speak, But their echoes are truly
endless...happiness radiates like the fragrance from a flower and draw all good
things towards your heart, full love and happiness. We would like to crown you
with sweet loving words of welcome I now invite our Respected Sr. Reshma to
welcome our guest of honour and the audience ......
7. Flag Hosting
To survive in peace and harmony, United and Strong, we must have one
people, one nation and one flag.
May I know invite our honourable guest of day, to hoist the national flag. Let
us with one heart and one soul say the pledge followed by Tamil Thai Valthu.
(I request all our leaders to take their position for the March-past).
8. Leaders March
Leader is one who knows the way goes the way and shows the way. Here we
have our leaders set ready to March towards the dias.
“ leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality” . We have our former
school pupil leader master Sai saran and newly elected school pupil leader Miss
Asha and former assistant school pupil leader Master Tamil Arasan and newly
elected assistant school pupil leader Master Sri Version Nehru holding the flag
and marching towards the dias.
Followed by our 4 house Captain and their assistant captain along with the class
leaders.
Saint Alphonsa house captain Miss Vibisha James Anto and assistant captain
Master Nagaraj radiate blue with signifies trust, wisdom, faith and confidence.
Saint Antony house captain Miss Pratipa and assistant captain Master Francis
emits green refers to the motivation, nature growth and development.
Saint Anne house captain Miss Srinidhi and assistant captain Master Richard
………emits red refers to the courage, sacrifice , passion and desire.
Saint Paul house captain Miss Darshini and assistant captain master Joshua emits
yellow with signifies wealth ,creativity, pride and independence.
Now I request our former pupil leader Sai Saran and assistant school pupil
leader Master Tamilarasan to hand over the responsibilities to newly elected
school pupil leader Miss Asha and assistant school pupil…..Master Sri Version
Nehru.
9. Oath taking ceremony / Pinning the badges
It is good to remember that leaders grow they are nt made we now hve our young
and vibrant leaders are ready to pledge their Oath at the commencement of the
investiture ceremony 2024. Now I request school pupil leader, assistant school
pupil leader and all the team captains and assistant captains of all the house to
come forward and place the flags on the pole and March towards the Dias.
The principal …
Dear students, you are called to be a leader to lead, and be a model to your
fellow friends, you have a greater responsibilities to make your leadership to be
more effective. On this gracious moment in the presence of all gathered here, I
wish to examine your competence to be leaders, to carry out the assignment
entrusted you.
1. As leaders of this school with various responsibilities, are you ready to
abide by the rules and regulation of the school?
Yes we do.
2. As student leaders, are you willing to discharge your duties to the fullest
satisfaction of your authority?
Yes we do
3. As chosen leaders of this school, are you ready to serve the student
community at any given situation?

4. Miss Asha, you are selected to be the school pupil leader and mastership
Varshan Nehru, you are selectd to be the assistant pupil leader for this
academic year 2024 -25.

Are you ready to serve the student council of St. Anne’s school with great
respect for uplifting the fame and glory of our school.

As per you school motto – in God we trust. We trust you to be a dedicate
leader who is called to serve, to students community based on values,
discipline and loyalty.

the idea of our school motto.
Congratulations dear student leaders for accepting the greater obligation to

10. Pledge
I ___________ solemnly take the oath before you all with honour. We promise
to strive, to do the best of our ability, to live up to the ideals of our school, by
fulfilling faithfully our duties entrusted to us by the school authorities and
teachers. We will respect the rules and regulations of the school and we will do
the best of our ability to preserve, protect and defend the honour of our
school.
Monitor’s Oath
We the class monitors of St. Anne Matriculation School, pledge to serve our
school with pride and loyalty. We acknowledge that leadership is not a path to
privilege, it is a responsibility. We must have the sincere desire to serve and
love, we promise to establish a sense of trust and win the confidence of our
fellow students and teachers, and inculcate a fond affinity among the hearts of
all.
Now all the leaders bend you head and get the blessings of everyone. I request

11. Prize Distribution for class xth students and teachers
Prize distribution is a memorable, proud, special and most awaited event for
every institution as well as for every student. You are all stars but you al must
learn how to shine.
Now, it is time to appreciate our shining stars. It’s my privilege to invite our
guest of honour Fr. B. Antony to give away the prize.
Our students have brought laurel to our school through their hardwork, sense
of responsibility and dedication. For the academic year 2024 of the first prize
ranker in academic is from class 10th - S.R.Merinsha.

13. Vote of thanks
No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks. Thanksgiving is a time
of togetherness and gratitude. Now, I call upon our school pupil leader Miss

“Success always comes when preparation meets opportunity”. Our young
leaders have taken up this opportunity to do small things in a great way from
today. We wish them all success. We shall rise for National Anthem.
