Bullying Unit March 14

The teacher will prepare 8th grade students for their final English project on public service announcements (PSAs). Students will watch sample PSAs to identify persuasive writing techniques, then choose topic groups. The class will review content standards on determining word meaning, coherent writing for task/audience. Students will begin outlining their own PSAs. The teacher aims to ensure understanding of the project and writing process, and would improve the lesson by separating group selection from video analysis.
