Everyone deserves to feel joy and purpose each and every day.
Every human
seeks to find a deeper meaning in what they do, how they live, why they are
here. Yet many are still searching. There is no perfect time to find answers to
our deepest questions. I have found the answers are often right before you,
already deep within you, waiting to be exposed. The question is, are you
ready to begin your journey to who you really were meant to be? People will
say we should feel content and blessed with what we have versus what we
do not have. Yet, many will look externally to gauge how they are doing. How
do I look in the mirror? Is my home spacious and inviting? Do I drive a luxury
car or have I taken an exotic trip? But do you truly wake up embracing each
day with joy? If you do, from what do you source your joy? “Presence is more
than just being Present.” The quote has never left me; it remains a most
significant and guiding inspiration. But what is presence? Some may call it a
combination of self-assertion and a desire for inclusiveness. If you were to
define presence you would simply state that presence is the state or fact of
existing, occurring, or being present in a place or thing. Some would argue
that presence is simply one that is present, such as the actual person or
thing that is present, essentially, something present of a visible or concrete
nature. The word can even denote the air of a person, especially one of a
stately or distinguished bearing setting forth a noteworthy quality of poise
and effectiveness.presence is derived from a deep awareness of soul and
Spirit. We can all identify with self but do you believe in soul and Spirit? Do
you identify with Spirit? Spirit is the nonphysical part of a person that is the
seat of emotions and character; your life force. Your first breath and your last
breath are set forth by Spirit. Presence can be realized when self is in full
presence and awareness of the soul and the Spirit, ultimately seeking
harmony between body and Spirit. Joy! When was the last time you felt
genuine joy? Joy is generally a feeling of great happiness. I live joy as a
deeply satisfying sense of the present whereby I choose to be joyful. Choice
is very important.
What defines you? “You may encounter ma
ny defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to
encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise
from, how you can still come out of it.”
There is an endless wealth of joy inside you. Focus on the present moment to
live to the fullest. In order to evolve to a higher level of self-esteem, invest in
self-knowledge. It is only after you truly know yourself and develop your best
version that you will master the art of relationships, influencing the world
around you in a positive way. Self-mastering is uplifting. It is up to each of us
to become conscious of our own processes. The human being that choses a
balanced existence will inevitably raise the energy frequency and will
become a light for all the others. Freedom means self-sufficiency, being the
owner of your destiny. It means to look for the truth, to make your own
choices, to be responsible for each of them. It means to move along with the
natural flow of the Universe, to believe that everything will happen as it
should to help your learning process. You are a spiritual being, living in a
material world and secretly equipped with divine intelligence and creative
power. You only need to internalize yourself within your true being,
connecting yourself to the spiritual levels of consciousness. The more
acquainted you become with these expanded consciousness levels, the more
potential will become available for you to create a better life and a better
world. Owen K. Waters On this blessed Earth, we share two main cultures:
the western and the eastern. And when we devise a clear view of them.
“SPEAK AND RECEIVE” Seek and you shall find. Ask and it shall be thine.
Speak to a mountain; it shall leave. You must speak what you believe. What
you say is what you get. Life is just what you make of it. Give and it shall be
given; you shall learn Words that are spoken will have a return. Bread cast
upon the water will come back, For in God’s economy there is no lack. What
is spoken that will be, For words last through an eternity.
WHAT YOU SAY IS WHAT YOU GET! The power of a spoken word is utterly
phenomenal! Words start wars, words spoken with intensity can cause
someone to kill, words spoken with forgiveness heal, words help build
bridges between people or erect walls, words are the most effective tools
owned by men and women. Words are like prairie fires. Once started, they
are difficult to stop. Words have the power to touch the mind, heart, spirit
and soul of a person. They can be as icicles, or warm as apple pie. Words can
be like razors, sharp and dangerous, or they can be soft as the fur of a kitten.
If words are so powerful, why is it that more people do not give additional
attention to them—not only to the words that are said, but also to the spirit
in which they are spoken? One word can be spoken many different ways and
have a different meaning by how it is spoken. The word “hello” can be
spoken curtly or friendly, in a sarcastic manner or a hateful way. It can be
spoken timidly or boldly. It can be spoken any way a person feels. There was
a day when two men felt positive faith in their God and spoke it. “And Caleb
stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess
it; for we are well able to overcome it” (Numbers 13:30). “We are well able to
overcome it!” Words spoken that day did not die in the ears of the Lord. God
remembered what Caleb had spoken and He had a few words to say about
him later: “But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him,
and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went;
and his seed shall possess it” (Numbers 14:24). Caleb spoke words, God
heard them, and He rewarded them. All of Caleb’s friends died in the
wilderness, except, of course, Joshua, but the two men who spoke faith lived
on for many years. Listen to Caleb forty years later. He was still speaking like
a winner: “As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent
me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to
go out, and to come in. Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the
LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were
there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be
with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said” (Joshua
14:11-12). What Caleb asked of Joshua—he received just as he had spoken!
Spoken words affect our future, our families, our happiness, and even our
health.
