Chapter 1
INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVES
1.1 INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVES ARE:
1. Gain valuable work experience
The hands-on work experience interns receive is invaluable and cannot be obtained in
a classroom setting, making this one of the most important objectives of internships.
Interns can apply acquired knowledge to real work experiences, witnessing first-hand
the day-to-day job duties they can expect to encounter in their chosen field. In addition
to learning the specialized skills of a field, transferable skills such as communication,
teamwork, and computer proficiency are also obtained in an internship, fully preparing
interns to enter the workforce upon graduation.
2. Explore a career path
Exploring is an important part of the college experience, and internships are a great way
for students to acquaint themselves with the field they are interested in. Some students
begin college with a major or career path in mind and end up changing their minds later.
Taking on an internship while in college allows students to work in their desired field,
helping them decide if the field is right for them. By graduation, students who interned
are more likely to feel confident they chose the right degree.
3. Give yourself an edge in the job market
One of the most important internship objectives is that college graduates who already
have some work experience in the form of an internship stand out to potential
employers. Internship experience makes a college grad more marketable as they usually
require less training and can handle more responsibilities. You may also receive a higher
starting salary than those who do not have internship experience and are entering the
workforce or starting a new career.
Department of ISE, AMCEC, Bengaluru-083 1
White Paper And Web Design 2023-2024
1.2 IMPORTANCE OF INTERNSHIP:
In today’s labor market, employers rely heavily on resumes that demonstrate relevant work history,
whether it is from actual job experience, volunteer work, or interning at a company. An internship is
an official program offered by organizations to help train and provide work experience to students and
recent graduates. The concept of working as an intern began a long time ago but has drastically
evolved over the years. Internships first started as a laborer who would take on young individuals and
teach them their art or trade. In exchange for being taught a skill, the trainee would agree to work for
the laborer for a specific time. Even then, the purpose of an internship or rather an apprenticeship was
to gain new skills to be able to obtain future work.
Getting work experience is an essential aspect of starting your career as a young graduate. Job
experience is not just restricted to an office job with a large organization. You can get an internship at
a small company or get experience by freelancing. Any experience where you use skills that you can
transfer to your future career is an excellent addition to your CV. By partaking in an internship, you
will be able to gain real-life exposure, grow your knowledge and determine if you are in the right
career field.
An internship will help you learn about your capabilities and ultimately encourage you to have a
greater understanding of your strengths and weaknesses. It can be a challenging experience at times.
Still, the benefits you gain from being pushed out of your comfort zone will help you tremendously
in the future when you are presented with a difficult task or situation.
Everyone knows that the job market is competitive, especially in the current climate. There may be
hundreds of other candidates applying for the same role as you. As a result, you need a way to help
give you a competitive edge and make yourself stand out. Internships can provide you with experience
and the skills to help make employers notice you and as well as showing them that you would be a
good fit for their company. It also shows that you are someone who has the drive and passion and has
been motivated to acquire experience outside of just University.

CASE STUDY ON WEB TECHNOLOGIES
2.1 Web3:
Web3, also known as Web 3.0, refers to the next generation of the internet, emphasizing decentralized and
user-centric approaches. Unlike the current web (Web 2.0), which is dominated by centralized platforms
and services, Web3 aims to empower users with greater control over their data, privacy, and online
interactions. Here are the key aspects and components of Web3:
1. Decentralization
• Blockchain Technology: At the core of Web3 is blockchain technology, which enables decentralized
networks. Unlike traditional servers controlled by a single entity, blockchains are distributed across
numerous nodes, enhancing security and transparency.
• Decentralized Applications (DApps): These are applications that run on a blockchain network rather
than a central server. DApps are open-source, and their backend code is distributed across multiple
nodes.
2. Cryptocurrencies and Tokens
• Cryptocurrencies: Digital or virtual currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum facilitate transactions within
Web3 ecosystems. They operate independently of central banks.
• Tokens: These are digital assets created on existing blockchain networks. Tokens can represent various
assets, including utility tokens, which provide access to a service, and security tokens, which represent
ownership in a company.
3. User Sovereignty
• Self-Sovereign Identity: Users in Web3 control their digital identities without relying on centralized
authorities. They use cryptographic keys to manage their identity and personal data.
• Decentralized Storage: Solutions like IPFS (Interplanetary File System) and File coin provide
decentralized storage, ensuring data is distributed across a network rather than stored in a central
location.
Department of ISE, AMCEC, Bengaluru-083 3
White Paper And Web Design 2023-2024
4. Governance
• Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs): These are organizations governed by smart
contracts and code rather than traditional management structures. Members of a DAO use tokens to
vote on proposals, making the decision-making process transparent and democratic.
5. Privacy and Security
• Enhanced Privacy: Web3 incorporates advanced cryptographic techniques to ensure user privacy and
data security. Zero-knowledge proofs and other privacy-preserving methods allow users to prove
information without revealing the data itself.
• Security: The decentralized nature of Web3, coupled with robust cryptographic protocols, makes it
more resilient to attacks and data breaches compared to centralized systems.
2.2 White paper:
A white paper is a comprehensive and authoritative report or guide that addresses a complex issue and
presents the issuing body's philosophy on the matter. It's often used in business, politics, and technology
to advocate for a specific position or solution, providing readers with a thorough understanding of the

TASK PERFORMED
4.1 INTRODUCTION
In this report I have focused on experiences with the company during the internship period. I was
made to work with the technical writers of the company. Working in this project gave me clear idea
of how companies publish white papers to solve a problem and make sure all the readers with varying
knowledge about the topic can grasp a similar understanding to the problem at hand. During my time
there I worked along with the team on a white paper on web3.0, the company has set out to fully
establish web3 infrastructure to ensure the user is in control of their data rather than the big tech
companies.
As this was an opportunity for me to gain knowledge and understand the steps and stages involved in
problem solving and understand how companies come up with solutions, business & technical advices
in such a short period of time without any hassle. So, initially I had to join a WhatsApp community
group where I got introduced to this company’s work environment. I was asked to give my
introduction in the group and get to know others in the development group. This is where we received
all our tasks and objectives for the day.
We were assigned a mentor from the development team who made sure that we were doing all our
tasks properly and within the time frame. Apart from the case study we did during the first week of
the internship, we had to work on an existing project of the company in the coming weeks. The
development team had been building a trading platform in the side and we were asked to assist them
by segregating all the components of the web app with the help of Figma.
In the later stages of the internship, we were asked to join Zoom meetings where I had to sit and
observe how people officially communicate, collaborate and come up with a solution in the meeting.
This was done almost every alternate day and helped me build my soft skills as well i.e. working with
a team and managing it.

4.2ABOUT INTERNSHIP
As a part of my academic I joined Permissionless as an intern for a period of a month from 28 Oct
2022 to 28 Nov 2022. I was assigned to the development and research team with two other people of
my batch.
Working in this project gave me clear idea of how a company comes up with solution for a given
business or technical problem received by the company. We learned a lot of new industry topics of the
web that are booming up currently. Throughout the internship phase, we were mentored by a person
from the development team to guide us with tasks and objectives.
After learning about the basics, we got a hands-on experience in studying a white paper, the structure
and components of a white paper and a detailed white paper that the company had written on the
“Layer 1 of Web3”. A white paper contains the following components:
• Topic
• Objective
• Ideal reader
• High-level problem
• High-level solution
• Market drivers
• Generic solution
• Shared solution
• Specific solution
• Call to action
As a beginner we were told to follow the template in making a white paper with ease and perfection.
The template is given below:

After understanding how to use the Figma software properly we had to start working on making each
component for the trading platform. With reference to other trading platforms and the new features we
want to add, components are decided and created.
Department of ISE, AMCEC, Bengaluru-083 14
White Paper And Web Design 2023-2024
The above components are decided and finalized by the crosschecking the requirements of the trading
platform that is being created. Now these components are to be designed inside Figma Software. Different
pages contain different group of components that are to be displayed on that particular web page. Once
such example could be:

These are the 4 pages of the web app that is designed on FIGMA SOFTWARE. This would be the user
interface and the visuals are designed accordingly. Once the design is verified and all the requirements of
the trading platform is met, the design is now to be converted into the code.
The code can be written by a developer or can be generated using AI. We had to convert the FIGMA design
to code using ANIMA WebApp which automatically converts the design into react code.
