Modifiers
Rule: to talk about how much, how little, something is true
Quite, quite a/an…
Meaning: less strong than very
Use: quite + adjective
Example:
     It’s quite difficult to find a job at the moment.
Use: quite a/an + adjective + noun
Example:
   That’s quite a happy day at the party.
   He’s quite an easy-going person.
Other modifiers (relatively, fairly, pretty, reasonably, etc.)
A bit more/A lot more
We use a bit (more/less) for a small amount more or less.
We use a lot (more/less) for a large amount more or less.
Example:
  I’d like to eat a bit more.
  I want to be a bit more healthy.
  I’d like to go outside with friends a lot more.
