State Bank Of India (Internship): Alternate Channels as a business initiative at State Bank of India,
(MBA) Bhubaneswar, May 2012 – June 2012
o Conducted a survey among 120 respondents to find out the awareness regarding Alternate
Channel Products.
o Determined the business from and extent of usage of the different alternate channel provided
by various banks and evaluated the rate of business growth by the channels during the past
three years.
o Created a data base of bank officials winning awards/incentives, personalized gift cards, dispatch
it to the designated office for charging the required amount and for the eventual dispatch to the
winner.

o Attended training programme held at novotel, vishakapatnam to establish Ramco as a price
leader and premium brand and constantly equip myself to meet customer requirements,
customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.
Factors influencing buying behaviour: A comparative study of online and offline buying
(Ph.d)
o Survey was conducted among more than 400 respondents doing online and offline shopping
to find out the buying behaviour during the period from Aug 2021 to June 2022.
o To make a comparative study of various attributes with respect to online and offline buying.
o Data collected was analyzed and interpreted using SPSS software.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Twelve years of rigorous corporate experience and seven years of research experience.
Joined The Ramco Cements Ltd as a management trainee and within a year secured promotion,
confirmation and ten times increment since then.
Was promoted as Senior Sales officer in 2018 and as Junior Manager, Marketing in 2022.
Played a vital role in appointing a C& F in khurdha 2 and thereby opening a new depot in balugan
and increasing market share and penetration.
Qualified for International Annual Dealer Conference thrice based on sales performance and
meeting targets.
Ventured into urban/semi-urban markets coastal odisha such as puri and khurdha districts including
Bhubaneswar and also some parts of western odisha such as boudh and sonepur districts.
Won 1st prize for presenting a research paper entitled “Growth of mobile wallets in India: A leap
towards cashless economy” at National Seminar on Statistics in Research: Trends & Applications
held on 15th April 2018 at Utkal University during my Ph.D journey.
Presented a paper titled “The New Normal Life in Virtual world: Issues, Challenges & Way
Forward” at webinar held on 28th June 2020, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.
Published a research paper titled “Work from Home: The Modus Operandi during COVID-19” at
Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Research in 2020.
Published a research paper titled “Factors Affecting Buying Conversions: A Selective Literature
Review In Case of Online and Offline Buying” at KIIT Journal of Management titled Parikalpana in
2021.
Published a research paper titled “Study on Influence of Mobile Technology with respect to online
shopping in Indian context” at journal titled European Chemical Bulletin in 2023
