Operational Test of LAND RECOVERY Configuration
1. Reason for the Job
Refer to the MPD TASK: 245000-02
OPERATIONAL CHECK OF LAND RECOVERY CONFIGURATION.
Make sure that LAND RECOVERY busbars are shed in emergency configuration and
recovered when the LAND RECOVERY pushbutton switch is pushed.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING:MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT
CONTROLS ARE CLEAR.
MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO
PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE.
CAUTION: DO NOT OPERATE THE FLAPS AND SLATS WHEN ONE OR MORE
"LEAK MEASUREMENT VALVES" PUSHBUTTON SWITCHES ARE IN
THE RELEASED POSITION ("OFF" LEGEND ON).
OPERATION OF THE FLAPS AND SLATS IN THIS CONFIGURATION
CAN CAUSE JAMMING OF THE MECHANICAL TRANSMISSION.
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-801) .
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM system only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-
801) .
(3) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-863-801) .
(4) On the FLAPS control panel 114VU, make sure that the flap and slat control lever
is in 0 position.
(5) On the HYD section of the maintenance panel 285VU, release the LEAK
MEASUREMENT VALVE/G pushbutton switch (the OFF legend comes on).
(6) On the ECAM control panel, push the CLR key until the DOOR page comes into
view on the SD.

B. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the access
door 811.
(2) Open the access door 811.
(3) Open the protective door of the AC/DC emergency power center 740VU.

A. Operational Test of LAND RECOVERY Configuration
ACTION RESULT
1.On the center pedestal, on the ECAM On the SD, on the HYD page:
control panel: · Make sure that the normal configuration
· Push the HYD key. comes into view.
· Make sure that the actual system
pressure indication below the GREEN
indication is of 3000 -200 psi or +200 psi
(206.84 -13.79 bar or +13.79 bar).
NOTE: A minimum hydraulic pressure is
necessary for the CSM/G to start
and operate correctly.
2.On the ECAM control panel: On the SD, on the ELEC AC page:
· Push the EL/AC key. · The normal configuration comes into
view.
3.On panel 211VU, on the EMER ELEC On panel 211VU:
section: · The ON legend of the LAND
· Push the LAND RECOVERY RECOVERY pushbutton switch comes

On the SD, on the ELEC AC page:
· The green LAND RCVRY indication
comes into view on the left side of the
AC ESS busbar.

On the CAPT and F/O glareshield panels

· The amber MASTER CAUT lights come
on and you can hear the single chime.
5.On panel 211VU: On panel 211VU:
· Release the LAND RECOVERY · The ON legend of the LAND
pushbutton switch. RECOVERY pushbutton switch goes off.
On the SD, on the ELEC AC page:
· The green LAND RCVRY indication goes
out of view.
6.On the ECAM control panel: On the SD, on the STATUS page:
· Push the STS key. · The LGCIU 1 indication comes into view
on the INOP SYS part.
· Ignore all the other warnings that can
come into view and are not given in this
test procedure.
7.On panel 211VU: On panel 211VU:
· Push the LAND RECOVERY · The ON legend of the LAND
pushbutton switch. RECOVERY pushbutton switch comes
on.
On the SD, on the ELEC AC page:
· The green LAND RCVRY indication
comes into view.
On the SD, on the STATUS page:
· The LGCIU 1 indications goes out of
view.
8.On panel 211VU: On the SD, on the ELEC AC page:
· Release the EMER GEN TEST · The normal configuration comes into
pushbutton switch. view (the CSM/G stops).
On the EWD:
· The DC ESS BUS SHED and AC ESS
BUS SHED indications go out of view.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-801) .
(2) On the HYD section of the maintenance panel 285VU, push the LEAK
MEASUREMENTVALVE/G pushbutton switch (the OFF legend goes off)
(3) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-802) .
(4) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-801) .

B. Close Access
(1) Close the protective door of the AC/DC emergency power center 740VU.
(2) Close the access door 811.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
