Luni, a tiny white wolf cub, wakes up
with the sun. He stretches his little
legs and yawns a big, round yawn.
"Good morning, world!" he whispers.
After breakfast, Luni goes outside to
play. Luni loves to run and jump.
He feels strong and free!
Luni loves to explore the world around
him.
One of his favorite places is the river. He
loves to watch the water flow and listen
to the sound of the rushing water.
Another place Luni enjoys is the green
fields. He loves to run and play in the tall
grass, chasing butterflies and sniffing the
flowers.
Luni also loves to watch the sun when it's
orange. It's a beautiful sight.
Luni loves to explore the world
around him.
One of his favorite places is the
river.
He loves to watch the water
flow and listen to the sound of
the rushing water.
Another place Luni enjoys is
the green fields.
He loves to run and play in the
tall grass, chasing butterflies
and sniffing the flowers.
The day flew by as Luni had so much
fun! The forest was full of surprises -
crunchy leaves to crunch, soft moss
to roll in, friendly squirrels to chase
and a sparkling river to drink from.
The sun was starting to say goodbye.
It was getting dark, and Luni knew he
had to hurry home.
He didn't want to be alone in the dark
forest. He ran as fast as his little legs
could, back to the warm and cozy den.
As soon as he arrived he asked
"Mom, Dad, can I play a bit more?"
his tail wagging with excitement.
His parents smiled.
"Just a little longer," they said.
.
Luni is afraid of the night but he
remembered what his mom said,
"Don't be afraid, Luni. The moon will
watch over you."
He’d often heard his parents and other
wolves talk about it, their voices filled
with awe and wonder.
Luni was playing in the forest
when he saw a red leaf dancing
in the air.
It twirled and twirled, teasing
Luni.
He pretended to be a hunter and
chased the leaf, leaping and
bounding through the trees.
Luni was having so much fun
chasing the leaf that he didn't
realize that night came, but Luni
didn’t care.
He was too busy following the
playful leaf.
Luni’s heart was filled with joy. He had never
had so much fun! He wanted to tell someone,
anyone, about his amazing day. He wished he
had a friend to share his excitement with. A
friend who would listen to his stories and
laugh at his adventures.
As the last rays of sunlight faded, Luni
paused to catch his breath. He looked
up at the darkening sky and
wondered, "When will the moon come
out?" He couldn’t wait to see it.
Just then, he saw it. A big, round moon was
rising, casting a soft glow over the forest.
Luni had never seen the moon before, but
he knew right away that it was special. It
was a silent listener, always there to hear
his stories and share in his joy.
Luni lifted his head and howled at the
moon. He told the moon about his day,
about chasing the leaf, and about how
happy he felt.
The moon listened patiently, its gentle
light shining down on him.
In that moment, Luni realized that
the moon was his friend, a friend
who would always be there to listen.
Now Luni couldn't wait to tell his
parents about his new friend.
The End
