The camera sweeps over the bustling streets of Nairobi

,capturing vibrant life of the city ,vendors shout,matatus
honk,and people rush by, the atmosphere is lively but tense.

INT. HOTEL.DAY

Bob(20) is serving customers a radiant of light and happiness

evident on face.

He moves from one table to another holding trays and

different dishes .anybody sees Bob is no violence person not
in any kind.

EXT. OUTSIDE THE HOTEL.DA

Two Police cruisers pull up aggressively outside the

restaurant ,the officers jump out of the car holding guns and
they rush into the restaurant.

INT. HOTEL.DAY

The officers pushed through the door with violence and at

this point everyone in the restaurant is shocked and looking
at officers.

They stop at the centre of the restaurant and one of the

officers come forward ,short,fat,bald and with moustache.

OFFICER
(angrily)

Who is Bob?

Bob stands at a corner of the restaurant,confusion and shock

on his face ,too afraid to speak.

OFFICER
Do i have to repeat myself again?

SECOND OFFICER
or we'll just arrest all of you,where
is the manager?

Bob eventually gathers himself together and moves forward.

BOB
(trembling)
am Bob officer,something wrong?

OFFICER
everything is wrong young man.

SECOND OFFICER
so you're the young crook huh!?

BOB
(shocked)
crook!?? what are talking about
officer?

OFFICER
apparently you don't even know
yourself?

BOB
officer i think you're mistaken,i have
done no crime,never in my life.

OFFICER
are saying am lying?

BOB

OFFICER
(pointing to an officer)
cuff his ass officer.

The officer moves to Bob and grabs his hand to cuff him.

OFFICER

They drag Bob out of the restaurant cuffed behind his back.

The customers in the restaurant murmur closely looking

shocked about what just happened.

INT.MAKO'S APARTMENT.DAY

Mako(30s,ruggedly handsome,former detective turned private

investigator, a hint of weariness in his eyes) stands in
front of a mirror,buttoning his shirt. the apartment is
sparsely furnished but filled with old case files band
photographs of his time as a detective .He picks up a framed
photo of himself and Bob smiling at the beach.

MAKO
(To himself)
Time to move on.

He grabs his keys, as he is about to head out, his phone

buzzes in his pocket,he takes it out and looks at the screen.

ON THE SCREEN(YOUR BROTHER HAS BEEN ARRESTED)

Stares at the screen for some seconds.

MAKO
What the hell!!

He looks for a contact on the phone and dials it.the phone

rings.

VOICE(V.O)
HELLO

MAKO
Hey JOSS ,what's going on?

VOICE(V.O)
Bob's been arrested man.

MAKO
When? and why?

VOICE(V.O)
They didn't say why but he was
arrested 20 minutes ago.

MAKO
Which police station is he taken to?

VOICE(V.O)
Dandora station i think.

MAKO
Ok Joss, am on my way

Mako rushes to the door.

INT. POLICE STATION. DAY

Mako storms into the police station anger and worry evident
in his eyes as he confronts an officer.

MAKO
Where is my brother?!

INT. HOLDING CELL. DAY

Bob stands in the cell, his face dropped and sore,fear in his
eyes, he sees Mako rushing towards him and shouts.

BOB
Mako!!

Mako stands in front of him holding his hand, he whispers

promise of hope in his face.

BOB
I didn't do anything Mako!

MAKO
I know brother, just hold on, I'll get
you out of here OK?

BOB
(Tears in his eyes)

Mako looks around and sees a man dressed up in a black suit

standing with an officer discussing something by the door.
His face changes. By this time the night had just came in.

EXT. STREETS. NIGHT

Mako paces on the street talking on the phone.

MAKO
(Angrily)
They arrested Bob, I need your help
please.

VOICE(V.O)
OK, old place, you know it right?

MAKO
On my way.

Mako hangs up the phone and puts it back in his pocket, he

paces on the streets.

3 WEEKS AGO

INT. MAKO'S APARTMENT.DARK

The room is sparsely furnished, with a lot of stuffs lying

around, it's dimly lit inside.

Mako lies on his bed snoring as he sleeps, suddenly an alarm

rings and Mako jumps up and sits straight. He picks up the
phone and disables the alarm,he then lays back flat, sighs,
someone rises from his side slowly, she puts her head on his
chest.

WOMAN
(Sleepy)
You up already?

MAKO
(Sighs)
Yeah, am'a go get some shower.

She lays back on the side.

Mako gets out of the duvet, he's wearing only an underwear.

He walks out of the room.

INT. MAKO'S APARTMENT-KITCHEN .DAY

Mako is making some breakfast, he is wearing a night gown

now. The woman appears out of the room, she's wearing a night
dress too.

MAKO
Morning,

WOMAN
(late 20s, smiles)

Morning.

MAKO
You had a good sleep?

WOMAN
Yeah, really enjoyed last night too.

MAKO
(Smiles too)

Good to know.

She stands at the bench and pours the tea in the cup, she
then proceeds to the toast Mako is making and takes one,
bites it.

WOMAN
Wow! This is good!

MAKO
Really?

WOMAN
Yeah, really tastes good.

MAKO
Thanks, (pause) am heading out, you
coming?

WOMAN
I gotta go to work(looks at phone) am
almost late.

MAKO
(Shrugs)
Better get going then.

WOMAN
Yeah.

INT. LUCY'S APARTMENT. DAY

LUCY(early 20s) a tech genius and hacker, brilliant woman

sits on a desk surrounded by books and papers, she types on a
computer in front of her. She's a macho nne too for your
information, just like most of those tech geniuses.

Her phone buzzes twice before she picks it up and looks at

the screen. She smiles.

LUCY
(Loudly)
This is good, business is booming
baby!!

She makes a little dance, her head swinging from left to

right. She humms some kind of a song. And wakes up to make

the dance more violent and interesting, the vibe breaks when
she hits the table with her ass and drops a cup of coffee on
the edge, the cup smashes the floor and shatters. She stands
still shocked.

LUCY
Oh God! Can't a person celebrate even
a little for achieving some big
goals?!!

She sighs heavily and takes a duster to cleans the floor.

INT. HOTEL.DAY

Mako sits at the table, looks like he's waiting for his order
to be brought to him. Just in a server appears with dishes.

BOB
Here you go sir, enjoy your meal.

MAKO
You know, you gotta charge more for
that smile little bro.

BOB
(Smiles)
I'll consider that, business is about
good ideas right?

MAKO
That's right.

Bob turns back to serve the other customers while smiling.

Mako starts eating the chicken while looking at the phone in

his left hand.

EXT. STREET. LATER

Mako and Bob walk on the streets slowly chatting.

BOB
So when are you gonna reveal her?

MAKO
What are talking about boy.

They arrive at a vendor selling eggs and smochas.they turn to

the vendor and buy some eggs and smochas, they laugh as they
eat the food.

EXT. ACROSS THE STREET. JUST THEN.

across the street from the street vendor,some local gangs

were exchanging when some kind of misunderstanding happened
and they started shouting at each other,soon a huge fight
broke between the gang members, knives and bats decorated the
fight ,soon there were groans and cries in the air.

EXT. THE STREET.STREET VENDOR. JUST THEN.

as they were enjoying their meal , Bob and Mako hear the
cries and groans across the street,Bob makes a run to take a
look but Mako stops him.

where are going?

BOB
don't you hear....someone needs help
out there!

MAKO
trust me bro you dont wanna go out
there.

BOB

MAKO
it doesn't concern you is what i mean

BOB

MAKO

BOB

Bob arrives at the apartment when him and his cousin stays,
it's an average one bedroom apartment, we'll furnished.

Joss is sitting on the sofa playing a video game on the TV,

there's a loud rap song playing on the woofer.

Bob sits on the bed, he hasn't changed his clothes yet, he is

looking at hone, his brother's words a while ago echoes in
his ears

after some seconds he opens Twitter (X) and opens his

profile.

Bob has alot of fans and followers on X where he posts

contents of anti-corruption,he mostly calls people to fight
against corruption, some support him and some hate him for
it.

He then posts about the events of a while ago when he

encountered the fight among the gangs.

(On the screen)

He continues to write then posts it and puts the phone down,

gets up and takes off his shirt.

INT. SITTING ROOM. CONT'D

Back at the sitting room Joss is still playing video game.

Bob come in from sitting room, holding his he sits on the
sofa besides him. He's really busy on the phone. Looking at
the comments he got from the post.

Now we see Bob at his place of work, it's early and there yet

Now we see Mako sitting in a diner, having a glass of juice,

he has glasses on and casually dressed. Looks at his watch
oftely, after few seconds, he receives a message on his
phone.

(On the screen)

He immediately gets up and wakes out.

INT. CAR. LATER

Mako and another guy sit in the car(2015 BMW X5) on the front
sit, Mako is sitting on the passenger side. They start
talking.

but feels like it.

MAKO

Hon. Kariuki(39, short and bald. A member of senate for

Nairobi County and prominent politician) sits on a fancy with

kingpins. They are meeting about something, because they
don't just meet usually to avoid rising eyebrows and rising
suspension.

HON. KARIUKI
the town is slipping between our
fingers people,we need strategies and
we need it now more than ever.

INSP. GEORGE

HON. KARIUKI

personal detail) comes in and whispers something in the Hon.
Kariuki's ear. and goes out again. Hon. Kariuki shifts his
attention to the meeting.

HON. KARIUKI
i hope we are on the same page now

they nod as a response and keep quit.

HON. KARIUKI
great ,am glad ...then we can end this
,meeting thank you for coming all of
you.

they get get up to leave ,Bozzet first ,then Dulaa then

Inspector George. just as George is leaving the room...

HON. KARIUKI
(calls)
inspector.

INSP. GEORGE
sir?!

he points him to come back inside and inspectors returns in.

George, whatever you have in mind do

INSP. GEORGE

good, i can control Dulaa but Bozzet
is ... you know her she is stubborn so
please use whatever you got and

INSP. GEORGE

As the inspector turns to leave...

HON. KARIUKI
And inspector, we got a shipment
coming in tonight, I need 15th to 18th
cleared, can't see even a rat on that
tonight.

INSP. GEORGE
I'll make sure of that sir.

And the inspector leaves the room while kariuki sits down and
drink the water on the desk.

INT. CLASS. JUNIOR SECONDARY .DAY

we shift to to Lucy , she is in a class full of children ,she

is teaching mathematics . did i tell you she loves teaching,
my bad ,aside from tech. being her primary career she loves
teaching too because she has a degree in educational as well.

LUCY

the bell then rings and she takes her purse and leaves the
room .

EXT. STAFFROOM .SCHOOL .DAY

The staffroom is filled with teacher, there are books and

different materials.

Now we see Lucy sitting at her table in the staffroom, she's

marking some books, she looks at her watch and sees it's
almost 1 pm. She's takes her bag and is ready to leave.

INT. CAFETERIA. DAY.

Lucy is sitting at a corner in the restaurant, she's is

eating her lunch, a rice beef served with selad and a glass
of juice, there's a laptop opened in front of her.

She runs her eyes through the surrounding quickly, her eyes
back the plate in front of her...

LUCY
(Making a face)

She looks back again at a table just 6 feet in front of her,

and, her face changes to normal.

LUCY

Suddenly Mako turns to look at Lucy, he smiles. He wakes up

front his table walkers to Lucy's

She gets up and they hug.

Just then some guy gets up from the table Mako was looking at
and walked to the counter. Mako puts down the glass of water
he's holding and gets up.

LUCY
(Smiles)

MAKO
(Walking to the door)

LUCY
(To herself)

Lucy gets her back and leaves the restaurant too.

EXT. SPACE. 15TH STREET. NIGHT

The street is quit and empty, there are no even the street
kids who always stroll outside like they always do.

Now we hear some people in a corner talking indistantly, the

voice become louder and louder as the camera moves closer to
them.

INT. CAR. FORD RANGER. NIGHT.

Dulaa sits in a car(2019 Ford ranger) he's is in the back

seat, there a driver, Kevoo(27 tall and hard) Dulaa's number
2, and some other members fromthe Bughaa gangs. Kevoo is
uneasy and uncomfortable just sitting there. They are waiting
for a shipment of drugs. The shipment belongs to Hon. Kariuki
who hired his associate Dulaa and his gang to receive it
because that's what Dulaa does best.

Off course there's a backup of other two cars full of boys

armed with guns hidden in the corner just behind them.

EXT. ROOFTOP. BUILDING ACROSS. NIGHT.

The camera goes up slowly till we see a sniper rifle on a

rooftop of a building across the street. We barely see the
person behind the long gun as it's dark up there...

SAM
In position sir.

HON. KARIUKI(V.O)
Good, make sure I'm aware of every
step.

SAM
Copy that.

Now we clearly see his face but it's still dark. It's Sam,
Hon. Kariuki's enforcer, he's there to make sure the shipment
come in safely without any chance of being tempered with. He
corrects his angle of shooting and sits on the rifle, with a
clear sight of Dulaa and his boys and the entire street.

INT. CAR. FORD RANGER. LATER

Back in the car, Dulaa and his boys are becoming inpatient.

KEVOO
They are late boss.

DULAA
Just a little longer and we get out of
here.

KEVOO
I think something happened to them.

DULAA
We would've known if anything
happened.

KEVOO
Shouldn't you juat call him?

DULAA
Not yet Kev. Just relax OK?!

(Looking suspiciously ahead)

They all look.

EXT. ACROSS THE STREET. JUST THEN.

A vehicle with bright light appears along the road and as it

turns to exit the road it blinks 3 times and turns off the
lights, like a code tap. just indicators. It's a truck.

Just as it enters the alley it stops and two gents come down
the front doors.

EXT. ROOFTOP. BUILDING ACROSS. NIGHT.

Back at Sam he watches as the truck come in and reports back.

SAM
It's here boss.

HON. KARIUKI(V.O)
Good, keep watching.

EXT. 15TH STREET. NIGHT.

Seeing the truck stop, Dulaa and his boys in the Ford ranger
move in. They arrive at the truck and stop the vehicle, they
get out.

EXT. AT THE TRUCK. 15TH STREET. NIGHT.

They are standing face to face now.

DULAA
You're late boys.

DRIVER
Had some issues with the truck.

DULAA
I hope you solved it.

DRIVER
Yep, it's good now.

DULAA
Any problem with the cargo?

DRIVER
Nop. It's intact.

DULAA
Good, pop it we gotta confirm.

Driver moves to the back of the trailer, they all follow him,
in the back the driver opens the trailer's back door, there
are many boxes wrapped in the back, he steps aside.

DULAA
(Pionts his finger in the trailer
and back at his eyes)
Kev.?

Kevoo hops on to the trailer and lights the flashlight in his

hand, he slaps the boxes one after the other and stops by
one, he takes a knife from the pocket and opens the box,
takes a mini box from inside and pops it open, a white powder
is seen takes it with the knife and tastes it,and looks back
at Dulaa.

KEVOO
All good boss.

DULAA
Good, let's move then.

Kevoo gets down and the driver closes the door.

DULAA
Gentlemen, from here we'll escort you
to the safe house, understood?

DRIVER
Understood.

DULAA
Just follow us... Alright boys let
go!!

They all get back in the cars and drive off, a toyota corolla
upfront full Dulaa's boys, the Dulaa's Ford ranger, then the
truck.

EXT. ROOFTOP. BUILDING ACROSS. NIGHT.

Back on the roof top, Sam witnesses all that's happening down
through the scope of the rifle. As the shipment moves out, he
secures his weapon in the bag and reports back.

SAM

We shift to Bob's apartment, he's sitting in the living room,

there is music playing on the TV. Joss is not in the room. He
then checks his phone. It's almost 12am, pauses the music.

He then calls the phone, we see the phone screen it's Joss.
The phone rings for 5 seconds and it's picked up, there a
loud music playing in the background .

INT. CLUB BOGOTA. NIGHT.

Now we see Joss in a club full of boys and girls partying,

everyone is holding a glass of beer and dancing, a loud music

EXT. SPACE. 15TH STREET. EARLY MORNING

The sun come up, it's hot but not that hot, a chilly morning
the atmosphere is calm but tense. We see the beautiful view
of Nairobi city, the buildings standing tall and the vehicles
running on the tarmacs.

NARRATOR(O.S)
Everybody wakes up with a plan for his
days, except for some their plan may
never be fulfilled. Whatever the day
holds no one knows, some people start
it with a prayer, some start it with
sin, some never get the chance to
start at all. The only difference is
that we all have different minds, but
all of us wish for the better version
of our days. The business people wish
they will get their highest profit,
the doctors wish they will save lives,
the lawyer wishes he'll win his case,
the assassin wishes he kills his

for whatever they want to do.

INT. HON. KARIUKI'S OFFICE. DAY

inside the office sits Hon.Kariuki he's signing some papers,

just then sam comes in.

SAM
boss, i got some emergency.

HON. KARIUKI
what is sam

SAM
i got an intel from one of my boys on
the streets that some youths are
planning today.

HON. KARIUKI
today?...how trusted is your
informant?

Sam walks to the door. Hon. Kariuki sits down and punchs a
number in the phone.

Susan, get me Inspector George, tell
him it's imminent we meet as soon as
possible.

INT. POLICE STATION. DAY

At the police station, the scene is tense with every police

officer getting ready, armed in riot gear and enough tear
gas, gas masks and many other. Inspector George appears from
an inner room.

INSP. GEORGE
Everybody gather please.

All the police officers gather at the center of the building.

INSP. GEORGE
Listen everybody, this is an
emergency, early this morning we got a
tip that a group of youth is planning
a protest and it's not a peaceful one
as the Intel suggests, so we have to
maintain the peace of this town
right??

OFFICERS
(All)
Yes sir!!

INSP. GEORGE
Good, now... There will be 3 teams,
team A the 13th upto 17th, team B 18th
to 20th and team team C the rest....
Gear up and let's move!!

INT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE. DARK.

We shift to the bughaa gang, their hideout where they lay low

during the day. Dulaa is seen sitting on a fancy chair, Sam

stands in front of him...

DULAA
Absolutely not, we do other things but
not interfere with public issues.

SAM
This a problem for all of us Dulaa.

DULAA

EXT. STREETS. DAY

The protestor, among them Bob, chant loudly, raising

billboards written different things like "we are the people
for the people" and many other.

As they advance the street, the police show up and stand

their guard on the street in front of the protestors.

They make a stop.

Then a group of youth appear from alley across and jioni the
protest, one of the holding a light but hiding it, and
another a gasoline can.

They start violence and burn tires, throwing stones at the

police, the peaceful protestors start to worry, Bob tries to
stop them but they won't stop.

The police start to advance now water cannons in front of

them, they start beating and arresting the protestors, tear
gases fly in the air. Bob is confused and stands in the crowd
stagnant, and seeing the danger closer to him, he runs for
his life.

Soon the place is filled with cries of pain and smoke.

INT. MAKO'S APARTMENT. NIGHT

Mako sits at a table, looking at a picture on the screen of

the laptop...

MAKO
Aaah!..so you're the one who wants to
betray your partner...(typing) doing
everything online isn't a smart move
though friend.

He then gets up and sits on the couch hard, switches on the

TV, the news comes on... Suddenly a figure like Bob appears
but it won't last even a second on the screen, mako's face
changes,

He picks up the phone and dials a number.

MAKO
Hey Bob, how are you?

BOB(V.O)

meal, the phone rings he takes it.
