Internal Antenna Installation GPRS Cellular Back-plane
Antenna
Cellular (NCC-GP) and WiFi (NCC-WF) cartridges require
installation of an internal antenna (if not using LXMM). To
install the internal antenna(s):
A Clean surface to remove any dust or dirt.
B Remove the adhesive backing cover strip from the
GPRS Cellular or WiFi internal antenna.
C Place antenna in close proximity to back-plane as
shown, to allow ample clearance for the front panel to
close without pinching the antenna cable.
WARNING: To comply with FCC RF safety exposure
limits, the antenna used for this transmitter must be
installed to provide a separation distance of at least
20 cm from all persons and must not be located or
operating in conjunction with any other antenna or
transmitter.
CAUTION: Take special care the first time when

placing the antenna. Once installed it cannot be easily
removed again.
GPRS Cellular Internal Antenna Installation
NOTE: Internal antennas must be installed in a vertical
position as shown to ensure maximum signal strength.
