The EDI-2000 series combines legacy features, such as previous model functions, high precision, and high resolu-
tion, unveiling a color liquid crystal screen with touch panel, making the product even easier to view and operate.
The indicator/controller has evolved into a high-function model, offering new multi-language support, various
graph displays, and a complete self-diagnostic function, achieving safe and secure weighing.

Rich self-diagnostic functions for safe and secure weighing
① Load cell circuit self-diagnostic function
The A/D conversion peripheral circuitry and the built-in check function for checking the excitation voltage, load cell wiring, and the like make early
detection of failures during operation possible. Errors that occur during operation are recorded in error history logs inside the indicator, aiding in cause
analysis.
② Adjustment error prevention function
This function allows you to set conditions such as load cell capacity, quantity, and tare load used in the scale, verifies that the load
cell output during initial adjustment and span adjustment satisfies the set conditions, and prevents adjustment errors caused by weighing
area interference, counterweight loading capacity errors, and the like.
③ Setting error prevention function
The indicator saves the final values set after adjustment, compares the set values with current values, and displays the differences. In
the event an optimal setting is mistakenly changed after adjustment, the change can thus be identified, making it possible to easily
return the value to the original setting.

Accurate weighing control with various graph display functions
① Real-time weight graph display function New functions
This function allows you to simultaneously display up to ten items in a graph
based on a cycle of 10 ms, minimum.
The function allows you to select the items to be displayed in accordance with
any purpose, such as simultaneous display of individual digital load cell weights
or simultaneous display of gross and net weights.
② Weighing result graph display function New functions
The function graphs the weight value (weighing results) and the time from
feeding start to feeding end (feeding time) as well as up to 3000 past values.
The weighing result is color coded, appearing in red when greater than or
equal to the over-weight value or less than or equal to the under-weight value,
yellow when greater than or equal to one-half of the over-weight value or less
than or equal to one-half of the under-weight value, and blue in all other cases, <Real-time weight graph>
making it possible to visually understand and identify weighing result changes
readily.
③ Zero-point memory weight graph display function New functions
This function graphs the changes in the memory weight of each zero memory,
making it possible to visually and easily understand the changes in the zero
memory weight.
④ Tare memory weight graph display function New functions
This function graphs the changes in the memory weight of each tare memory,
making it possible to visually and easily understand the changes in tare
weight.

A hybrid model featuring high precision and high function
① High-speed, high-precision A/D conversion circuitry
The A/D conversion circuitry offers an A/D conversion rate of 100 times/second, a
temperature drift of 0.1 µ/˚C, and a resolution of 300,000 counts / 30 mV.

The hybrid model can internally store up to 100 grades. The model allows
you to select a grade by simply selecting the grade number.
③ Sequence function
The model provides a hopper scale sequence function, simplifying peripheral
device configuration.
④ Both vertical and horizontal orientations supported

The model allows you to switch between vertical and horizontal orientations by
simply changing a setting.
*The standard factory setting is ver tical orientation. If you prefer
horizontal orientation, specify horizontal when you place your order. If <Error history>
you switch between ver tical and horizontal orientations, you will need
to replace the model sticker on the front of the unit.
⑤ IP65 equivalent dust-proof and splash-proof char-
acteristics New functions
The front side of the case offers IP65 equivalent dust-proof and splash-proof
performance.
*When mounting the indicator to a panel surface, be sure to secure the
indicator with installation brackets at the defined tightening torque.
*Avoid use in locations exposed to direct sunlight.
⑥ Error history function
The model stores 100 of the most recent errors, allowing you to trace an error
when trouble occurs.
⑦ LAN network function (optional) New functions
This function allows you to check settings and set model names from a Web
page. You can also send error information in e-mails.
