Item 1
Muto secondary school has realized that milk has essential nutritional benefits for
children including school going children. The head teacher has decided to include it
on the menu for students. He therefore sought for bids/suppliers of high-quality milk
for students. In the specifications, the school needs fresh milk that meets the highest
levels of safety and quality with standard specific gravity range of 1.028-1.032.

When the advert was put. Two suppliers applied and were asked to bring samples as
represented by; A and B.

Task
Perform an experiment and recommend the best supplier for Muto secondary school

Item 2

Mr. Kito a cattle farmer has earned a living and paid school fees for his children using
income from his cattle projects. Recently some of his animals slowed down the growth
rate and experienced reduced milk production. He suspected that animals were not
getting enough feeds, he added more kgs of a balanced ration but no significant change
was noticed. On a close observation, Mr. Kito saw specimen K, on the hide and J in the
dug. Un fortunately, one of his animals died and when it was slaughtered, specimen L
was found in one of the internal organs of the carcass. He is giving up on his project.
He is very frustrated.

Task;
Carefully observe specimens K, J and L and explain to Kito how the specimens affect
his yields and advise him on what to do to regain his production.
