The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 global goals

established by the United Nations in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for
Sustainable Development. They aim to address the world’s most pressing social,
economic, and environmental challenges and create a better, more sustainable future
for all.

🌍 1. No Poverty
End poverty in all its forms everywhere.

 Focus: Eradicate extreme poverty and ensure equal access to resources, basic
services, and social protection.

🥗 2. Zero Hunger
End hunger, achieve food security, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable
agriculture.

 Focus: Ensure everyone has access to safe, nutritious food all year round, and
support farmers.

❤️3. Good Health and Well-being


Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.

 Focus: Reduce child and maternal mortality, combat diseases, and improve mental
health and healthcare systems.

📚 4. Quality Education
Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning.

 Focus: Make education accessible to all and improve the quality of learning from
early childhood to adulthood.

🚺 5. Gender Equality
Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

 Focus: End discrimination, violence, and ensure equal opportunities in leadership,


education, and employment.

💧 6. Clean Water and Sanitation


Ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.

 Focus: Provide safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene, and protect water
ecosystems.

⚡ 7. Affordable and Clean Energy


Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy.

 Focus: Increase the use of renewable energy and improve energy efficiency.

💼 8. Decent Work and Economic Growth


Promote sustained, inclusive, sustainable economic growth and full and productive
employment.

 Focus: Create jobs, promote entrepreneurship, and improve labor rights and
working conditions.
9. Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
Build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation.

 Focus: Improve transportation, technology, and support research and innovation.

Reduce inequality within and among countries.

 Focus: Promote social, economic, and political inclusion regardless of age, gender,
ethnicity, or status.

11. Sustainable Cities and Communities


Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.

 Focus: Improve urban planning, housing, and access to public services.

 Focus: Reduce waste, use natural resources wisely, and promote recycling.
