1.LAMB HEAD

Beware! These notes are quite bad, and I only have a few pictures from the process, so you
will have to improvise. And also, using my instructions will lead to a loose surface and
stuffing may show through. But you can do it!

For the head, you will make a squished tube, in rounds that consist of bobble stitches and a
flat area for the face. I have included some pictures below. The parentheses at the end of
each round is the total number of stitches you should have after completing that round.
When you see stitches like bob/sc you will have to decide if a bobble stitch or a single
crochet fits better in the pattern. As a rule of thumb, each bobble stitch should be followed
by a single crochet, and try to not stack the same type of stitch when making a new round.

While making the flat area for the face, please use whatever stitch keeps the best height for
the round. I have used a combination of sc and dc.

When increasing or decreasing, but no type of stitch is specified, use either sc or bob,
whatever would come normally in the pattern.

1: 4 sc in magic ring
2: (3 sc in next stitch)x4 [12]
3: bobst, (3 bob/sc in next stitch, 2 bob/sc)x3 [16]
4: (bob, sc) as necessary with 2inc in the “corner” stiches [24]
5: (bob, sc)x2, inc, (bob, sc)x3, inc, (bob, sc)x2, inc, (bob, sc)x3, inc [28]
6: (bob, sc) x8, 4 sc, (bob, sc) x4
7-8: (bob, sc) x7, 8sc, (bob, sc) x4
9: (bob, sc) x8, 8 sc, (bob, sc) x2, bob
10: sc, (bob, sc) x7, 9 dc, (bob, sc) x2, bob
11: sc, (bob, sc) x8, 8 sc, (bob, sc) x1, bob
12: sc, (bob, sc) x8, 8 dc, (bob, sc) x1, bob
13: sc, (bob, sc) x8, 8 dc, (bob, sc) x1, bob
14: sc, (bob, sc) x9, 6 sc, (bob, sc) x1, bob
15: sc, (bob, sc) x9, 4 sc, (bob, sc) x2, bob
16: (sc, bob) x2, dec, (bob, sc) x2, bob-dec, (sc, bob) x2, dec, (sc, bob) x4, bob-dec [24]
18: dec3, (bob, sc) x2, bob, dec3, bob, sc, bob-dec3, (sc, bob) x2, sc, bob-dec3 (16) -stuff-
19: sc, bob-dec, sc, bob, dec, bob, sc, bob-dec, sc, bob, dec [12]
20: dec3 x4
2.LAMB BODY

The body is a lot easier to do, but works similar to the head.

Base: Using this formula and a 3mm hook, make an oval with a starting chain of X=6.
I did two rounds, but feel free to add another if needed.

Going up the body(I can’t remember if I used 3mm or 5mm hook):

1: (bob, sc) until the end of the round in back loop only
2-5: (bob, sc) until the end of the round (alternate the bobble stitch and the sc each round, so
they do not stack, like blow)
3.FACE PLATE

I don’t have many instructions for the face, because I shaped it as I went.

I used the 3mm hook and chained 7 to start. As a guide I used the oval formula from above
and this Ideal Crochet Rectangle pattern to get the rough shape below. Just make sure it fits
the flat area on the head you already made.

4.EARS

For the ears, I used the pattern in this Amigurumi Toy. I’ll leave the instructions below, but
feel free to adjust the size and watch the video on the site to see how they are done.

1: start 6 sc into a magic ring [6]

2: (sc, inc) 3 times [9]
3: sc, inc, (sc 2, inc) 2 times, sc [12]
4: (sc 3, inc) 3 times [15]
5: sc 2, inc, (sc 4, inc) 2 times, sc 2 [18]
6: (sc 5, inc) 3 times [21]
7-9: sc in each st around [21]
10: (sc 5, dec) 3 times [18]
11: (sc 7, dec) 2 times [16]
12: sc in each st around [16]
5-6.ARMS & LEGS

For both arms and legs I used the same pattern, but the arms are slightly longer than the
legs.

1: start 6 sc into a magic ring [6]

2: 6 inc. [12]
3: (inc, sc) 6 times. [18 sts]
4: sc in each stitch, back loop only [18]
5-14: sc in each stitch [18 sts] (You can stop here for the legs)
15-17: sc in each stitch [18 sts]

7.CROWN

The two cones of the crown uses the stardrop pieces from this Junimo pattern as a base.
I see the written pattern is no longer available for free, but you can still view the video on
YouTube.

Cones. Make two:

1: start 4 sc into a magic ring [4]

2: (sc, inc) x2 [6]
3: (sc, inc) x3 [9]
4: sc all around [9]
5: (2sc, inc) x3 [12]
6: sc all around [12]
7: (3sc, inc) x3 [15]
8: sc all around [15]

Connect the two cones and continue making a tube for about 12 rounds in sc.
8.HORNS

As a base for the horns, I used this Cow Amigurumi. My exact adjustment are below:

1:8 sc in magic ring

2: 7sc, inc [9]
3: 8sc, inc [10]
4: 9sc, inc [11]
5: 10sc, inc [12]
6: 11sc, inc [13]
7: 12sc, inc [14]
8: 14 sc [14]
9: 14 sc [14]

8.CAPE

In color black

0: chain 55 (or however many you need to fit around the neck. I made a few extra sticked to
have room for a buttonhole and button)
1-3: sc in each st [55] turn (Make a buttonhole at one of the end if you want) Faster off

In color red continued in the black collar.

1: sc in every st
2: (dc inc, 3dc) repeat until end
3: (dc inc, 4dc) repeat until end
4: (dc inc, 5dc) repeat until end
5: dc in every st , fasten off

How for the small triangles. Below is the pattern for one triangle. You can make them one by
one and weave in all the ends. I chose to slip stitch along one side of the finished triangle to
be able to start the next one without cutting the yarn.

Starting from one end of the cape case in red

1: 15 hdc, turn work [15]

2: dec hdc, 11 hdc, dec hdc, turn work [13]
3: dec hdc, 9 hdc, dec hdc, turn work [11]
4: dec hdc, 7 hdc, dec hdc, turn work [9]
5: dec hdc, 5 hdc, dec hdc, turn work [7]
6: dec hdc, 3 hdc, dec hdc, turn work [5]
7: dec hdc, 1 hdc, dec hdc, turn work [3]
5: dec hdc in all three stitches [1]
To add the white trim to the cape, slip stitch in a zig zag pattern a few mm away from the
edge.

9.BELL

For the bell I udes the Ideal Sphere formula.

1. Ch 2. 6 Sc in second Ch from hook. [6]

2. inc in each stitch around [12]
3. 1, inc, 2, inc, 1, inc, 2, inc, 1, inc [17]
4. 2, inc, 3, inc, 3, inc, 3, inc, 2 [21]
5. 3, inc, 6, inc, 6, inc, 3 [24]
6. 10, inc, 13 (25)
7. even [25]
8.13, dec, 10 [24]
9. 3, dec, 6, dec, 6, dec, 3 [21]
10. 2, dec, 3, dec, 3, dec, 3, dec, 2 [17]
11. dec, 1, dec, 2, dec, 1, dec, 2, dec, 1 [12]
12. 4 scdec. Fasten off. Weave loose end through each stitch in the opening. Pull tightly to
close.
9.BANGS

To finish of the head and face, let’s give Lamby some bang using the same yarn as the head
and body.

0. Chain 4
1. (bob, sc) x2, turn [4]
2. 1sc in each st [4]
3. (bob, sc) in the same stich, bob, sc, (bob, sc) in the same stich, turn [6]
4. dec sc, (sc) x2, dec sc, turn [4]
5. (bob, sc) x2 [4]
That should be all!

The only thing left is assembly and felting or embroidering details. I’ll leave one last closeup
for the face, eyes and crown felting.

I hope you can make your own Lamby and I would love to see it if you do. u/TheFluffster24
