HAIR
Roll the hair down. Place the hair around the head and fix it with pins as in the
picture. Start sewing it on head.

Page 38
Continue sewing the hair around the head in spiral rounds through the top.

When you come to top part of head, roll up about 15-20cm of remaining hair tail
then sew it and close the hairless part on top of head as shown in the pictures
below.

Page 39
Page 40
Form the hair with your hand to give a neater look to the top part of hair and
wrap a piece of plastic wrap around the head. Put the head into hot water in a
bowl and keep it in hot water for about 5 - 10 min.

Page 41
As an alternative method of forming the hair, you can use the steam of your iron.
Without wrapping any plastic wrap around the head, only form the hair with your
hand and expose it carefully to the steam of your iron for about 5-10 sec. Pay
attention not to touch the iron to the hair and burn your hand.

Stuff the pumpkin with fiberfill.

Rnd 31: (dec) 8x = [8] Fasten off.

Leave a tail approx. 50-60cm in length and cut the thread. Thread a tapestry
needle with the tail and close the opening by gathering the remaining 8 sts with
it.

Now we will make the ribs of the pumpkin. Insert the needle into the closed hole,
which is at the bottom, through the pumpkin and pull it out from the center of
beginning round, which is at the top of it. Pull the thread tightly and make an
indent ridge at the bottom and top of pumpkin. Insert the needle through the
pumpkin from the same hole at the bottom and draw it tightly from the same hole
at the top again. Repeat the same process for 8 times and make 8 ribs to the
pumpkin.

BROOMSTICK
We need a piece of twig 25cm in length and approx. 20gr of natural raffia 15cm
in length for the broomstick. Cut the raffia as in the picture and tie it around the
twig tightly by following the making process of the broomstick from the pictures.
Cut the excessive ends from top and bottom of it with scissors.
