PT. Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT) plans to build additional combine cycle power generation
plant for their expansion projects including smelter and other new facilities. To provide gas for those
facilities AMNT engaged PT. Amman Nusantara Gas (ANG) to develop and operate a new LNG Terminal
and Regas Facility within AMNT operation area in Benete Bay of Sumbawa Island, West Nusa Tenggara,
Indonesia.
The project includes facilities of onshore LNG storage tank with capacity of 50,000 m3 and 135,000 m3,
regasification unit to produces up to 77 mmscfd gas, an LNG-Carrier jetty with trestle, utilities, buildings
and gas sendout pipelines to the power plant and smelter.

This document comprises the basic requirements of the design features, capacities, inspection and testing
of safety equipment to be provided for EPCC Sumbawa LNG Terminal and Regasification Facility Project.

Vendor shall supply complete recharging unit for dry chemical fire extinguisher including dry chemical and
cartridge.

7.
All safety signs shall be outdoor signs, with the following details:
1. The base shall be galvanized plate or equivalent with 2 mm thickness.
2. Constructed of self-adhesive vinyl or plastic and weather proof material for the sign color and
pictogram/symbol or text.
3. The text should be contrast color with the background for better visibility.
4. The color, pictograms/symbol and text prints shall be laminated for protection.
5. All safety signs shall be printed with photoluminescent.
6. All safety signs should be easily viewed.
7. Vendor shall confirm and inform Purchaser the adequate size for 2 languages, Bahasa Indonesia
and English required on the safety sign with the font size of minimum 30 mm.
8. All safety sign shall be mounted typed and equipped with fixing holes. Each fixing hole shall be a
minimum of 4 mm diameter on the smaller sign types, and 8 mm diameter on larger signs, where
required.
9. Required bolt and nuts for fixing shall be provided by VENDOR.

Testing of fire protection equipment shall be described below:
1. All safety equipment shall be inspected / tested at shop before shipment in accordance with
VENDOR
2. VENDOR shall also make a scope of inspection table, which shows the kind of test, and inspection
to be carried out at shop. Purchaser shall decide the necessity of witness by the parties after
reviewing the procedure and kind of test of inspection.
3. Before delivery, all the safety equipment / system shall be adequately tested and inspected in
terms of performance, operability, conformance with the general design specification including
dimension check and visual examination.
