SUCCESS STORY
Master Udayan

Mr. Saravanan works as a road-digging labourer on daily wages. His son Udayan,
a 2 years and 7 months old child, was diagnosed with Large ASD with PAPVC of
Left Upper Pulmonary Veins, for which they consulted doctors at MIOT Hospital.
Dr. Robert Coelho – Director & Chief Pediatric & Congenital Cardiac Surgeon
advised Cardiac Catheterization Angiography. The cost of the procedure was
charged at Rs. 25,000/ -

Mr. Saravanan, being the sole earning member in his family, was unable to
afford the treatment cost. Realizing their poor situation, the medical team
approached Ekam to support child’s procedure. With the financial support
coming from Ekam Foundation, the child underwent the surgery on
19/ 03/ 2019 without any complications.
