To provide for the supplementary appropriation, by votes of
expenditure, both recurrent and capital, in respect of
services of Government for the financial year
2023-2024, in excess of the expenditure
appropriated by the Appropriation
(2023-2024) Act 2023 and the
Supplementary Appropriation
(2023-2024) Act 2024
ENACTED by the Parliament of Mauritius, as follows –
1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Supplementary Appropriation
(2023-2024) (No. 2) Act 2025.

2. Appropriation of sums for supplementary expenditure in respect


of services of Government

(1) A total sum not exceeding two billion eight hundred million
three hundred and forty-six thousand rupees (Rs 2,800,346,000) in respect
of the vote of expenditure, both recurrent and capital, specified in the
Schedule, being the total sum in excess of the expenditure appropriated
by the Appropriation (2023-2024) Act 2023 and the Supplementary
Appropriation (2023-2024) Act 2024, shall be appropriated to meet the
supplementary expenditure in respect of the services of Government for
the financial year 2023-2024.

(2) The expenditure of the total sum under subsection (1) shall be
appropriated by votes of expenditure, in conformity with the Schedule and
the Estimates of Supplementary Expenditure (2023-2024) (No. 2) of 2025
laid before the Assembly.
