RUBBER EXPANSION BELLOW
Elastomer (rubber) expansion joints have been specified for many years to
accommodate movement in piping runs and ensure efficient systems.
Elastomeric expansion joints are fabricated from synthetic elastomers and fabric,
and are often reinforced with metal. W hen operating temperatures and pressures
exceed 250°F and 200 psig, respectively, the rubber should not usually be considered
an alternative to metallic expansion joints. W ithin these limits, elastomeric joints
do offer advantages compared with metal joints.
ADVANTAGES:-
1. Cycle Life - Many more cycles can be provided, and vibration fatigue is not a
concern.
2. Stress Corrosion - They are chemically inert to most common corrosive
elements.
3. Resistance to Abrasion and Erosion - They outlast metal joints in this respect.
4. Resistance to External Damage - With elastomer joints, accidental external blows
do not cause damage.
5. Space Requirements - Metal joints require a considerably greater face-to-face
dimensions.
6. Acoustical Impedance - They absorb a great deal of noise and vibration.
7. Light Weight - They are easy to handle and compact.
8. Low Cost - In general, they are less expensive than metal joints.

RUBBER BUSH
Rubber bushes are a type of anti-vibration bush that generally consist of
cylindrical inner and outer metals, fully bonded with rubber in between. The
rubber bush for the suspension can be pressed into a housing, which will
provide compliance between the inner and outer metals in the radial, axial,
torsional and conical directions. A wide range of rubber bush designs can be
offered; with hollow inner metals, solid inner metals (with lugs), segmented
outer metals, and profiled inner/ outer metals. If you require rubber bushes
for a specific application, our experienced engineers can offer a custom
anti-vibration service using our advanced Finite Element Analysis software

RUBBER DOCK FENDER

RUBBER LINING/ PULLEY LAGGING
Rubber Lining is an application method used to protect multiple types of systems by lining
corrosion and abrasion-resistant rubber upon the surface or inside of pipes and tanks. Rubber
Lining is mainly used in tanks and pipes. Hence, here in IRI lining is done by hand by our
experienced staff for a durable finished product. The equipments to be lined, working conditions
and environment are different for each customer.
PIPE LINING TANK LINING
Rubber lagging is applied to pulley shells to improve the friction between the pulley and the belt.
Conveyor drive pulleys are often supplied with diamond grooved lagging as indicated in the
adjacent sketch. 'Diamond grooved lagging' refers to the pattern in the lagging and this pattern,
like with vehicle tyres, enhances the grip or friction even if the belt surface is dirty. A number of
variations to diamond-grooved lagging are available including chevron-lagging. 'Plain' lagging
can also be applied to pulley shells as indicated adjacent. Plain lagging is applied to pulleys which
are not driven pulleys for example tail pulleys, take-up pulleys, etc. but which require good
traction between belt and pulley for improved belt tracking capability.
