Emergency Steering

The emergency steering procedure involves turning the selector switch in the autopilot control and power box to the OFF position for both pumps. Next, switch the S/G starter panel from remote to local and start the desired pump (No 1 or No 2). After the pump is started, steering can commence.

PROCEDURE OF EMERGENCY STEERING.

1. Turn selector switch inside AUTOPILOT


CONTROL & POWER BOX to OFF position.
FOR BOTH PUMPS.

2. Turn selector switch on S/G STARTER 3. Start the pump which you will use No 1
PANEL from REMOTE to LOCAL or No 2.
FOR BOTH PUMPS.
PROCEDURE OF EMERGENCY STEERING.
4. After starting the pump you can start
steering.
