COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT
THROUGH
MANAGEMENT OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
(CSR) FUNDS
I. Background.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept that
requires companies to play an active role in making a positive
contribution to society and the environment. Along with the
development of the business world, CSR has become an important
part of the company's strategy to maintain a balance between
economic success and social and environmental responsibility.
The management of CSR funds aims not only to comply with
applicable regulations, but also to have a significant and
sustainable impact on society, the environment, and national
development. A targeted and measurable CSR programme can
strengthen a company's relationship with various stakeholders,
including local communities, governments, and consumers. It also
plays a role in enhancing the company's reputation, creating
shared value, and promoting sustainable development.
However, managing CSR funds requires careful planning and
professional implementation to ensure that the funds are well-
targeted and provide optimal benefits. Through this proposal,
we propose a comprehensive CSR fund management plan, designed
to achieve the company's social objectives while providing
tangible impact to the beneficiaries.
The Technical Proposal includes programme objectives,
targets to be achieved, implementation strategies, allocation of
funds, and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to be applied.
Thus, it is expected that the management of CSR funds can run
effectively, transparently, and in accordance with the
expectations of all interested parties.
II. Destination
The objectives of this CSR fund management are as
follows:
1. Providing Positive Impact to the Community
Making a real contribution to improving the welfare of the
community through programmes that have a direct impact on
health education, the environment, and the local economy.
2. Improving Environmental Quality
Supporting environmental conservation activities through
reforestation programmes, waste management, conservation of
natural resources
3. Building Harmonious Relationships with Stakeholders
Strengthen relationships with the community, government, and
related parties through mutually beneficial collaboration
and create trust between the company and the surrounding
community.
4. Improving Company Reputation and Image
Through targeted and sustainable CSR programmes, companies
can enhance their reputation in the eyes of society,
government and the market, and demonstrate strong social
responsibility.
5. Reducing Social Inequality
Providing support to disadvantaged or vulnerable
groups in
society, with a focus on improving access to education,
health and economic resources.
III. Programme
Objectives
The targets of the CSR programme will be tailored to the
focus of the company's activities and the needs of the local
community. The main targets include:
1. Local community empowerment: Improved quality of life
through health education
2. Environmental conservation: Activities such as
reforestation, waste management, and natural resource
conservation efforts.
3. Local economic development: Creating economic opportunities
through
Agroforestry
programme
IV. Scope of
Activities
The scope of CSR fund management includes several stages,
namely:
1. CSR/PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) Programme Planning
Programme planning was conducted through PRA (Participatory
Rural Appraisal) activities that resulted in the output
of programme designs to be funded.
Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) is an approach and
method used to understand the conditions, needs, and
potential of rural communities through the active
participation of members of those communities. PRA aims to
involve local people in the process of data collection,
analysis, and planning, so that the solutions produced are
more relevant and sustainable according to the local
context.
2. Programme Implementation
Implementation of activities in the field in accordance with
the programme design selected according to the results of
the PRA
3. Monitoring and Evaluation
Evaluate the impact of the CSR programme and prepare a
comprehensive report on the use of funds and the results
achieved. Monitoring and evaluation is conducted on an
ongoing basis to assess the
effectiveness and efficiency of CSR programme
implementation. Things that will be considered in this
process are:
• KPI (Key Performance Indicators): The establishment of
performance
indicators to assess the extent to which CSR programme
objectives are achieved. KPIs may include the number of
beneficiaries, economic and social impact, and
sustainability of the programme.
• Routine Monitoring: Conduct regular field visits and
programme performance monitoring to ensure that the
programme is running according to plan and has no
deviations.
• Final Evaluation: After the programme is completed, an
evaluation is conducted to measure the real impact of the
programme and for future improvement.
• Monitoring and Evaluation Report: Prepare monitoring
and evaluation reports as a basis for public and internal
reporting.
4. Reports and
Documentation
Every CSR programme undertaken should be well
documented for reporting and evaluation purposes.
V.
OUTPUT
1. Implementation of CSR programmes in the right locus so as
to have
a real impact on beneficiaries in accordance with the
expectations of all interested parties.
2. Certificate of CSR programme from Local
Government

protected forest areas, coastal areas, or wetland
ecosystems.
• Areas vulnerable to climate change or natural
disasters.
- Selectability: Select forest areas affected by
deforestation for Agroforestry afforestation programmes or
coastal areas affected by marine pollution.
4. Infrastructure and Resource Availability

availability of infrastructure and resources that would
enable effective implementation of the CSR programme.
