On behalf of the Management and Staff of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency
(FERMA), I write to express our profound goodwill and warm felicitations to the Nigerian
Society of Engineers, Ikot Ekpene Branch, as you commemorate the 2025 Engineering
Week.

The theme of this year’s celebration, “Highlighting the Roles of Engineers in the Arise
Agenda of This Administration”, is both apt and visionary. It effectively underscores the
indispensable role that engineers play in the conception, design and implementation of
infrastructural projects that drive sustainable development and national growth.

At FERMA, we fully recognize and appreciate the efforts of professional engineers in


maintaining and advancing Nigeria’s infrastructure, particularly our road network which is
vital to economic and social connectivity. We are proud to associate with the Nigerian
Society of Engineers in promoting excellence, professionalism and innovation in the
