Applies to all Crane Types. Mobile Equipment & Cranes Inspection sticker (68-4014) shall be placed on the equipment after it passes the inspection.

2.2 Access and cabin are clean & free of tripping hazard.
2 ACCESS
2.3 Strong & rigid hand hold device.
2.4 Machine Guards and warning signs/decals in place.
3.1 Outriggers, stabilizers and pads functional.
3.2 Horn and service lights functional.
3.3 Fire extinguisher present, with updated colour code.
3.4 Seat belts for each seat.
3 SAFETY DEVICES
3.5 Anti-Two Block / LMI system functional.
3.6 Travel Warning device functional.
3.7 Automatic reverse alarm audible from 20m distance.
3.8 Service brake and parking brake functional.
4.1 Clean, tidy, without window curtain or hanging materials.
4.2 Windshields clear & free of cracks, unobstructed view.
4 OPERATOR CABIN
4.3 Functional gauges, warning lights, mirrors.
4.4 Bubble level, Axle lock-out and swing brake functional.
5.1 Hydraulic hoses free of cracks.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS, 5.2 All oil levels acceptable.
5 FUEL LINES AND FUEL
TANKS 5.3 Fittings & undercarriage free of oil leaks traces.
5.4 No excessive fuel residue, fuel tank lid fixed in place.
6.1 Engine starter & battery in good condition.
ELECTRICAL
6 APPARATUS AND 6.2 No exposed wiring/cables.
SYSTEMS
6.3 All electrical controls & switches are functional.
7.1 Fluid levels, air system and pressure, belts.
7 ENGINE SYSTEM
7.2 Anti-noise muffler operational/good exhaust air quality.
8.1 Boom angle indicator functional.
8 BOOM & JIB 8.2 Pendant lines, sheaves and lattice/cords in good condition.

9.1 Wire rope and connections are in good condition.
9.2 Hooks, blocks and ball in good condition.
WIRE ROPE, HOOKS, 9.3 Latches close automatically on the inner side of the hook.

9.4 Drums brake and locking device are functional.
9.5 Minimum 3 wraps of wire rope with hook at lowest level.
