Rubber Process Oil (RPO) is a key component in rubber formulations used for manufacturing various products including tires, shock absorbers, and footwear. Aromatic RPOs enhance the physical properties of rubber compounds, improve filler dispersion, and are characterized by their high viscosity and low volatility. The document also provides specific characteristics and test methods for RPO, along with packaging options.

Rubber Process Oil (RPO)

(RPO)--Heavy Aromatic
Aromatic--RPO40
RPO is used as component in rubber formulations and manufacturing of products such as aautomobile
utomobile tires,
Rubber shock absorbers, Footwear, Industrial hoses, wire and cable coverings, Flooring materials and Carrier fluid or
solvent in manufacture of adhesives, Sealants, Polishes and Carbon black ,to improve physical properties of
vulcanization to reduce the cost of finished rubber compounds,
compounds, Tire & Rubber Industry, as a Lubricant in Rubber
Processing, In manufacturing of White Oil , as a component in Ink Production
Production.. Rubber Process Oils are used during
mixing of rubber compounds. These help in improving the dispersion of fillers and flflow
ow characteristics of the compound
during further processing. Aromatic RPO have primary characteristics of aromatic hydrocarbons are the presence of
the double bonded mix ring carbon structure. Aromatic extracts are procured from selected refineries and su suitably
itably
blended to meet stringent specifications, are used for compounding batches to manufacture tires, calendared and
molded sheets, tread rubber etc. These products show excellent solvency, superior compatibility and have low
volatility and high viscosity.
