For clothing, thrift stores provide cheaper options, while shopping malls offer higher quality and better customer service at a higher price. However, some markets may have low-quality items and poor service.

There are many places in Ho Chi Minh City where you can go shopping.

I usually buy things I need at

the supermarket. They have great prices, and things are often on sale. Traditional markets have more
types of goods to choose from, and the food and vegetables there are normally fresher and cheaper than
in supermarkets. However, at some places, the customer service isn’t always good, and sometimes the
things you buy are low quality.
For buying clothes, people can go to thrift store around the city, or big shopping malls. Clothes in thrift
stores are cheaper, and if you’re lucky, you can find really beautiful and good quality clothes. People
who like buying different styles of clothes usually prefer going to shopping malls, where the customer
service is normally better and the clothes are high-quality. That’s why they are more expensive.
