1. Why are you looking for a job?

Currently, I am a first-year student majoring in international business at ISB, University of

Economics Ho Chi Minh City. HCM. I am currently very fond of accounting, so I want to find a
part-time job or internship to apply the knowledge I have learned in practice. I also want to
study in a professional working environment to better prepare for future work.

2. How would you describe your ability to work as a team member?

"I am a person with a good spirit of cooperation. In clubs or group work, there needs to be
close coordination between departments. When working as a team, I always listen to your
opinions and share your opinions and provide clear support so that the work is completed
on time. For example, in the accounting principles class, I and my team work in a team. I
always try to complete my work on time and apply my basic knowledge to do accounting
exercises to avoid as many mistakes as possible.

3. What are your weaknesses?

Because I am a first-year student, I do not have much practical experience in the field of
accounting. However, I am actively studying online courses on Excel and basic accounting
software, and actively reading specialized books to supplement my knowledge. I am also
willing to learn from my brothers and sisters and colleagues to improve this weakness.

4. Tell me about an accomplishment you are most proud of.

I once tutored a middle school student in Math for 3 months. At the beginning, the student
only scored an average of 5, mainly due to difficulty in grasping basic concepts and using
formulas. To help him improve, I worked with him to create a clear learning path, focusing
on strengthening the foundation before moving on to more advanced exercises.

Thanks to my perseverance over the course of 3 months, the student not only improved his
score to 8 but also became more confident in solving the exercises. I will definitely apply
these skills effectively to complete professional tasks in the accounting field in the future.

5. Tell me how you handled a difficult situation.

During a running event organized by the club, bad weather caused many people to cancel
their registration. My team and I quickly implemented a backup plan, including moving the
venue indoors, contacting emergency sponsors, and promptly notifying participants. Thanks
to that, the event was still successfully organized as planned. Through this experience, I
learned a lesson about staying calm when handling problems and the ability to adapt to
circumstances flexibly.

6. Why should we hire you?

Although I do not have direct experience working in the accounting field, I have established
a good foundation for myself. During my studies, I always ensured that I practiced
carefulness and attention to detail, qualities that I believe are required of an accountant. I
am presently sincerely practicing general accounting software and upgrading Excel skills to
best prepare myself for real work. With youthful passion and determination to keep
learning, I want to be given an opportunity to assist in company growth, and gain valuable
experience in a workplace.

7. What is your dream job? Where do you see yourself in five years?

“I have a clear career path in the accounting field. In the near future, I hope to become a
professional accountant, capable of contributing real value to companies in a dynamic and
professional working environment like yours. I am particularly interested in developing in-
depth expertise in management accounting and financial analysis.

In the next 5 years, I plan to acquire enough practical experience to be qualified for senior
titles such as chief accountant or financial analyst. Simultaneously, I will learn and obtain
important professional certificates such as ACCA or VCPA to improve my professional
competence and expand my career avenue. I know that this is a path that requires hard
work, but because I am passionate and committed, I believe that these aspirations can be
achieved.
