BRANDING, VISUAL IDENTITY AND PACKAGING DESIGN

Branding & Packaging: Designing for a Dynamic Market


Objective: This 3-week program is intended to give students the skills to design unified brand
identity systems and creative packaging solutions that reflect international trends, sustainability, and
new technology. Through research, ideation, and practical design exercises, students will create a
full branding and packaging system for a product category of their choice, ready to tackle real-world
industry challenges.

Method: Students will form a group of 3 and name their group creatively. Each group will pick up a
topic (product category) and will strategically ideate to launch the product. Peer-to-peer review and
discussions.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Familiarize themselves with branding principles and the impact of visual identity on brand
perception.
2. Create an in-depth brand identity system, including logos, typography, and color palettes.
3. Design engaging and sustainable packaging solutions that improve user experience.
4. Leverage AI and generative design software to discover new branding opportunities.
5. Incorporate global design trends and cultural storytelling into their brand ideas.
6. Present and justify their branding & packaging design through an inspiring brand story.
