1. RESEARCH SCIENTIST II
POST:- 01
(@ Essential Qualifications
Postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with Syears R&D/ teaching experience or postgraduate diploma in
medical subjects with 6years R&D /teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university;
or
MBBS recognized by MCI from any institute recognized by MCT or equivalent degree from a recognized
University with 8 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after MBBS degree;
or
BDS/B.V.Sc&AH degree recognized by DCV/VCI with 9years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant
subject after BDS/B.V.Sc degree;
or
First class Master's Degree in relevant life science subjects or equivalent degree from a recognized
University with 8yearsR&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after Ist. Class Master's Degree;
or
Second Class M.Sc,+Ph.D degree in the relevant subject to equivalent from a recognized University with 8
years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc +Ph.D.
Gi) Desirable Qualifications:
a) Doctorate or M. Tech Degree in related science or engineering subject or MD in the related subject
from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.
b) Additional Post-doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s)
©) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/Data Management
4) Experience in non communicable diseases will be given preference.

‘Qualification:
The candidates must have passed +2 Science examination under Council of Higher Secondary Education,
Odisha/equivalent and passed Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from any of the 3(three)Medical
College and Hospitals of the State/ any other private institutions recognized by Government of Odisha or All
India Council of Technical Education.
RESERVATIO!
Reservation to SC/ST shall be made in accordance with the provisions for the ORV in posts and
services (for SC & ST) Act 1975 and the Rules made there under. Reservation to SEBC, Ex-Servicemen.
PersonsWith Disability& Sportsmen should be made in accordance with the provisions made under such
Act, Rules Order, Resolutions or instructions issued in this behalf by the Government from time to time. In
absence of required number of candidates in any category, selection will be made as per existing Rules and
guidelines.
AGE LIMIT:-
The Candidates shall not be less than 20 years and not more than 32 years of age. The upper age limit
