9. Important notes for safety
9-1. Protection circuit
If focus/zoom/iris is locked or continuously overloaded while motor has an electrical
connection, an excessive heat might be generated and causes to burn the motor parts.
Therefore, please perform safety confirmation test, and please consider applying
protection device such as a fuse, a protection circuit or other device to the motor.
9-2. Condensation from atmosphere
The motorized lens should be protected from temperature extremes which could cause condensation.
This might lead to short circuit or current leakage. Condensation should be
considered in set design. A safety device, for examples condensation sensor, is
recommended to be installed to the set to perform cut-off the power supply.
