- Based on Size: Micro, Mini, Mainframe, Supercomputers.
- Based on Purpose: General-purpose and Special-purpose.
- Based on Type: Analog, Digital, and Hybrid.

4. Basic Functions of a Computer:


- Input: Taking in data (e.g., from keyboard, mouse).
- Processing: Performing operations on the data.
- Storage: Saving data.
- Output: Presenting data (e.g., monitor, printer).
- Control: Directing the manner and sequence of all operations.
