Annexure
1 Outer dimension of the Land Area should be shown in Topo Sketch Plan.
2 The Owner of the adjacent side of the site boundary of factory should be noted in site plan.
3 Outer dimension of gate, septic tank, D.T should be shown in site plan.
4 All the revised Machineries indicated with outer dimension should be shown in detailed machinery layout plan.
5 Lift is to be constructed and maintained as per the Rules and Regulations of Tamilnadu Factories Act 1948, Section 28 (1) (2).
6 Proper sound proof partition wall should be provided in Open Generator Shed. Generator Smoke Vent Pipe should be shown
in cross sectional plan.
7 Adequate Rest Room and Lunch Room have to be provided for male and Female Workers.
8 Common facilities such as Drainage, Drinking Water, Road, Ventilation have to be provided by the Building Owner as per
Factories Act 1948 Sec-93.
9 Size of doors and windows must be minimum 1.2x2.0 meters and 0.91 x 1.52 meters respectively.
10 All doors and windows must open outwards.
11 Minimum Clear distance of 60 cm must be provided in between machines.
12 Certificate must be furnished mentioning that construction has been completed according to the approved plan
13 Factory requires to obtain consent for discharge of sewage and all types of industrial effluent from the Tamil Nadu pollution
control board.
14 Certificate must be furnished mentioning that all machines has been installed as per the plans approved.
15 Certificate of Stability must be furnished.
16 This plan approval is only for building and installation according to the provisions of the Tamil Nadu factories Rules.
17 As per Rule 61 of Tamil Nadu Factories Rules , factory premises shall be provided with adequate fire fighting arrangements.
18 No window shall be fixed at a height of not more than 1 meter from the floor.
19 Application must be submitted for amendment of factory license, if required.
