Introduction

Gender, race, and culture are important parts of who we or our identities and
how we have experiences and move in the world. Gender, race, and cultures are
what we call diversities. Diversities are the differences among people, such as
the race, gender, culture, religion, or background. It shows that everyone is
unique in their own ways. It is what we called uniqueness in a different view
point. In gender, this is based on how people have to act base on what they are –
female, male or another gender. Race looks at how people are grouped base on
their color and features – it sees here the diverse in them, and how should they
be treated. Culture includes the shared traditions, values, language, and customs
that shape how people is living and understood in this world.

Gender inequality still exist, there is racism that affects people how they are
to be treated according to who they are and the cultural differences. It also
misunderstood. These affect how we see ourselves and how we treat ourselves.
People are often judged unfairly because of their gender, race, and culture.
These issues can affect and create conflict to people that are affected, making
them hard to live with peace. On the other side, these help people to create new
ideas, relationship, confidence and skill development. To add, it makes people
better in thinking and generating new ideas. If understood, this will create a
united world.

The history of gender, race, and culture shows how these ideas have shaped
societies over time. In the past, many cultures had strict roles for men and
women, often giving more power to men. Over time, people began to fight for
gender equality and women’s rights. Race has also been a source of division,
especially during times of slavery, colonization, and segregation, when people
were treated unfairly because of their skin color. Culture has always been part of
human life, but in history, some cultures were seen as better than others, leading
to conflict and discrimination. Today, people continue to work toward fairness,
respect, and inclusion, learning from the past to create a better future.

Before the eighteenth century and the rise of Enlightenment thinking, there was a
theory that men's and women's reproductive organs could belong to a common
sex, even though they were assigned to different gendered roles. So there was
one sex, but two genders.

The term “race,” used infrequently before the 1500s, was used to identify
groups of people with a kinship or group connection. The modern-day use of the
term “race” (identifying groups of people by physical traits, appearance, or
characteristics) is a human invention. shell, can be traced back to the
development of symbolic thought and language among early humans, leading to
the creation of diverse social structures and traditions. It encompasses
everything from material objects to beliefs, values, and practices that shape
human behavior and society. The concept of culture, as a distinct field of study,
emerged in the 19th century with figures like Edward Tylor, who defined it as a
complex whole including knowledge, beliefs, art, morals, and customs.
Main Part

1. Discrimination and Intolerance

Discrimination – in all its possible forms and expressions – is one of the most
common forms of human rights violations and abuse. It affects millions of people
every day and it is one of the most difficult to recognize. It simply means
discriminating and treating someone unfairly just because of who they are – like
their skin color, gender, religion, or were they came from. People get unfairly
treatment. People may be discriminated against because of their age, disability,
ethnicity, origin, political belief, race, religion, sex or gender, sexual orientation,
language, culture and on many other grounds, including on several grounds at
the same time. Intolerance is a lack of respect for practices or beliefs other than
one's own. It also involves the rejection of people whom we perceive as different,
for example members of a social or ethnic group other than ours, or people who
are different in political or sexual orientation. Intolerance can manifest itself in a
wide range of actions from avoidance through hate speech to physical injury or
even murder. This mean that you simply don’t accept someone or respect
someone just because they are who they are, that they are different from who
you are. Instead of learning to understand them, you are being rude to them and
treat them unfairly and throw them hurtful words.

2. The Importance of Respecting Individual Diversity

Respecting individual diversity is essential for creating a more inclusive,

equitable, and harmonious society. It involves accepting and valuing differences
in individuals and recognizing the unique contributions that each individual can
bring. By acknowledging and celebrating diversity, we can create a better world
for everyone. It is important to respect, understand, and learn the different
genders, cultures, and races. It’s because it creates a unified world. It will also
help us change and learn to accept and love one another and create new things
that will change the world. This will make us strong and everyone will feel
respected, loved, values and safe.

3. Promoting Diversity and Inclusion

To create inclusive environments, schools must actively promote diversity and

inclusion. This can be achieved by celebrating different cultures, religions, and
identities. It also involves addressing bias and discrimination and establishing
policies and procedures that ensure equal opportunities for all students. Social
justice in schools is critical to creating an inclusive and equitable education
system. It aims to address the disparities and inequalities among students,
ensuring everyone has equal opportunities to succeed academically, socially,
and emotionally. However, achieving social justice in schools is not without its
challenges. Students and citizens should learn the differences of each side to be
good and for the good change of all. People should be taught how to understand,
respect and make them feel they belong and they are valued.
4. The effect of culture, race, and ethnicity on behaviors, attitudes, and
identity

Culture, race, and ethnicity significantly influence behaviors, attitudes, and

identity, shaping how individuals perceive themselves and interact with the world.
These factors can contribute to a person’s values, communication styles, coping
mechanisms, and sense of belonging. Our positive life experiences also shape
our identities. Overcoming difficult times through adolescence or adulthood can
help us build resiliency in our sense of selves. Culture provides shared beliefs,
values, language influence and so on. That helps a person’s identity and that is
how it is influenced. By merging each others differences we can learn and adopt
to new things. This helps them understand their selves more and accept things to
them.
Conclusion

Gender, race, and culture are important to learn, to understand and to reflect
to ourselves. It talks about people’s differences and how it all should be learned
and accepted. Having a life from different growing stage is difficult because
people experience a lot of not so good things in their lives. The ignorance of
other people widely affects the lives of others just because they are different from
who they are. Gender, race, and culture should be respected and accepted from
what the differences they have. Each of us have our own uniqueness and
differences, learning it all will create a unified world. It will give peace and unity to
people and to the world we live in.

Just because people are different when it comes to gender, race and culture,
they experience discrimination and intolerance from others. They are treated with
treatment they don’t deserve, that they feel like they are not human to be treated
like that. They were treated unfairly and disrespected. People who does accept
them throw hurtful words to them hurt them, curse them.

Everyone should learn how to respect, love, care, and value to everyone
even in school or communities or in any other place. It will create a better
environment for everyone and will result to a harmonious life. Through learning of
these, people will be open minded to things that they don’t accept in the
beginning.

Everyone should learn how to accept diversity, promote diversity and accept
it. Good things will happen and it will help people shape not only their mind but
also their lives. Those will lessen harmful things you live with because of
diversity. Everyone should live from what they are, they deserve to live from who
they are. It helps shape the identity of each and everyone.
