WHO WE ARE
The Indian Medical Association is a National
organisation of Doctors of Modern Scientific
System of Medicine in India.

Established in 1928 under the guidance of Dr.

Bidhan Chandra Roy. The IMA is the largest
association of doctors in India with more than 3
lakh doctors as its members. It is also a
founding member of the World Medical
Association with its Headquarters in New Delhi.

IMA MSN is Medical Students Network. It is the Students Wing of IMA
aiming to connect medical students from all the medical colleges in India
with the same goals and purpose as IMA , encouraging a community of
future healthcare leaders, while also providing a means of
extracurricular activities to students.

MSN not only connects students, helps them inculcate skills of

leadership, professionalism, healthcare policies , ethical practice,

Health camps Menstrual education camps

IMA has conducted Regular Health Camps across IMA MSN has organised Menstrual Education Camps to empower
the state with the help of our volunteers . These girls and women with the knowledge of menstrual health and
camps offer free check-ups, consultations, and hygiene. They aimed at providing vital information on menstrual
health education, addressing various health hygiene practices, debunking myths, and promoting positive
concerns prevalent in the region. attitudes towards menstruation.
