Well, It depends. I definitely give my preference to spending time with my close people when I want to have

when I am exhausted, I would rather spend time alone reading novels and listening to music on my own.
- What’s your favorite food? Why do you like it?
Actually, there are various foods that I’m keen on. But on the top of my list is BÚN CHẢ, which is a
traditional and popular cuisine in the North of Vietnam. The reason why I love it is that it’s a healthy and

experience.

3. BOOKS & READING

What is your favorite book?
It's difficult to choose just one favorite book, however, if I had to pick, I would say the "Harry Potter" series.
It is not a single book, but rather, a series of seven novels. I’m really into it because it has taken me to an
amazing world where I have been able to build my own world away from the complexities of the real world.
- Do you think that the internet and television will eventually make books disappear?
Although we have access to internet nowdays, I don’t think so because there’s so many important and
significant books that many people prefer to read physically. Also, staring at a screen for too long may hurt
people’s eyes or head, making them prefer physical books.
- What is your favorite time of the day for reading?
When it comes to the favorite time of the day for reading, I would go for the time in the evening before bed.

Well, you know, there are so many actor and actresses that I’m into. My first favorite actress is Meryl Streep

also a big fan of Sơn Tùng.
- What is the best book you have ever read?
The book that left the most profound impression on me was The Hunger Games. It is a series of young adult
dystopian novels. I really enjoyed being immersed in the science fiction world that Collins creates.
- What are some games that you don’t like play? Why?

compelling about the game.
So, games like Monopoly, Snakes and Ladders, and Candyland are on my "games to avoid" list.

- How much do you use the internet?
Well, I use the Internet very often. I surf the Internet every day. At work I get access to the Internet to check
my emails and exchange information with customers. When I have free time, I also surf facebook to chat
with my friends or watch movies on youtube.
- Do you think the internet is useful for your work? (why/why not)
Definitely yes. No one can deny the helpfulness of the internet in working. As researching information that
relates to my job is much easier with the Internet. And of course it allows me to find the information I need
quickly and accurately.
- Do you enjoy playing computer games? (why/why not)
Yes. Computer games of all kinds have become good to play because they take us out of our daily lives.
This is not to say we don't enjoy our lives; rather it means we can enjoy some downtime so we can relax and
focus on something different.

6. FREE TIME
- Where do you like listening to music? Why?
Well, I like listening to music at home. Because it’s the coziest place for me and I love being at the comfiest

with the earphones.
- Are you an active person in your free time? What sort of things do you do?
Actually, I’m an active person, I really like going out and I hate to stay at home. So whenever I’ve got a bit
of spare time, I’ll call up my friend and we will hang out. I might go to a coffee shop , watch a movie or go
shopping together.
- Do you spend most of your free time on your own or with friends? What do you usually do? Lặp lại
Well, I think it has to depend on the situation as well. When it comes to some spare time after study, I'd
rather just stay at home and relax myself. But on other occasions, I believe that hanging out with a group of
friends can be a great fun. You know, the more the merrier.

7. EDUCATION & WORK

- What do you like most about your job?
As an English teaching assistant, what I like the most about my job is that I can educate children and expose
them to English and foreign cultures so that they are trained to be well-rounded future citizens, this
absolutely brings me a sense of achievement.
(However, there are a few things I don’t like about my job. First, it requires me to work overtime very often,
which reduces the time I have for my family. Also, I have to work under a lot of pressure, so sometimes I
feel very tired.)
- Do you plan to study anything in the future? What do you plan to do?

- Where did you spend your most interesting holiday? ( what did you do)
My family went to Cua Lo Beach last summer to spend a vacation and it is one of the most memorable
experiences for me so far. There are a lot of beauty spots, and good seafood there. I took a lot of
Photographs of the sea, enjoyed delicious seafood. After a week in Cua Lo Beach, we felt happy and
stronger.
- Where do you think you will be this time next year?
If I have a chance, I would like to go to Dalat next year. Because I like the cool weather here. There are
many beautiful scenes and I can emerge myself in romantic landscapes with Than Tho Lake, Mong Mo Hill
and enjoy many tasty local foods.

Yes, definitely! I enjoy travelling a lot because it helps me to broaden my mind. It’s true that I can learn
about new cultures and meet different people while travelling. Moreover, I can taste traditional local food.

- Why do you think some people remain single?
The reasons why some people remain single are diverse and can vary widely from individual to individual.

experiences, and simply not having found the right person yet.
- What are the consequences of being single?
Being single can bring about many positive aspects, such as independence and personal growth, but there are
also potential consequences that individuals may face. Some single people feel lonely, especially during
social events or holidays like Valentine's Day or weddings. Moreover, Some people may experience social
or cultural pressure to conform to traditional relationship norms, leading to feelings of isolation or judgment.

People tend to feel sad or jealous for not having a boyfriend and Valentine's Day. Some individuals may
feel indifferent or even relieved because of focusing on their self -love. Single people choose to celebrate the
day by spending time with friends, or engaging in activities they enjoy.

10. HOME LIFE

- Do you have a large or small family?
Actually, I come from a small family. I live with my parents and 1 siblings. As I recall, we used to live with
our grandparents, uncles and aunts many years ago. But now we have a nuclear family as we live in a city
which is far away from our grandparents' house.
- Could you tell us something about your family?
I live in a small family of four. My parents are both retired and I have an older brother. We all live in the
QL district and try to get together as often as possible. My family we enjoy spending time with each other,
whether it’s going out to eat or watching a movie at home.
- How much time do you usually spend at home?
I spend less than 7 hours per day at home because I have to go to the university all day. Moreover, I am a
final year student so I have many assignments to complete. But when I'm at home, I like to cook and clean
the house in my spare time.
11. SOCIAL PROBLEMS
- What are some reasons people use illegal drugs?
There are countless reasons why people begin to abuse drugs, whether they’re illicit drugs or prescription
medications. And this stems from many different causes such as grieving, Environmental Influences, Career
Pressures as well as school pressures.
- What are some ways we can help homeless people?
When it comes to ways to help homeless people, we can give them clothes that we haven’t worn in a while
or bring them food and drink. Moreover, we can volunteer in our spare time to help them.
- What do you think is the most serious problem in the world?
Currently, there are so many problems happening in the world but the most serious I think is air pollution. It
comes from vehicle emissions and factories’ fumes and affects not only human health but also the country’s
economy.

12. TRANSPORTATION
- What kind of public transportation do you usually take?
I’m not really a public transportation rider on a daily basis because I mainly get around by my own
motorcycle. However, when I have to, I’d use buses because, simply, they are the major kind of public
transport in my city and my country alike.
- Do people like to use public transportation in your country?
Honestly speaking, I don’t think Vietnamese people are in much favor of traveling by shared vehicles. In
recent years, the government has been investing more in expanding the public transportation system by
constructing the overhead rails and the metro system, but they either do not cover all the routes or are under
construction.
- What form of transport do you prefer to use? Why?
Without any doubt, I would say motorbikes. You can see people driving motorbikes all over the place in my
country. Almost everyone travels by motorbike. The reason why a motorbike is favored is due to its
reasonable price and convenience.
- what transport is the worst for the environment?
Well, I think road transport like buses, car and motorbike is the largest contributor to environmental
pollution. With the increasing number of vehicles and the use of unclean fuels, it is harmful to the
environment.
- How important do you think it is to use public transportation?
I think it depends on the underlying reason. Because the route suits their daily travel needs and they support
public transportation services, some people commute by bus frequently. But for a variety of reasons, such as
its poor quality, lack of security, and inconvenience, some people vehemently oppose taking public
transportation.

13. HOMETOWN
- Where is your hometown?
You know, I was born and grew up in Nghe An province, located in the Central part of Viet Nam. To be
honest, It’s not only beautiful but also peaceful. Moreover, people living here are friendly and warm-hearted
- What’s your hometown like?
Actually, there are so many landscapes with long rivers and green mountains, as well as a peaceful and
tranquil environment. so I have to say that my hometown is favored by nature.
- Do you think your hometown is a good place to live?
In general, I would say it’s a very pleasant place to reside, though younger people tend to get bored there. As
I said, it’s a peaceful area. However, most residents are elderly people and children.

14. YOUR HOMETOWN

- What is there to do in the evening in your town?
There are quite a few things to do in the evenings in my town. The way the evening is spent depends upon
one’s taste and mood. You can walk along the Lam River for sightseeing or if you like the vibrant
atmosphere, you may go to entertainment places.

- Is it possible to enjoy yourself in your town without spending too much money?
I think there are many ways to entertain in my town without spending money. You can immerse yourself in
the environment by taking a walk along the beach or the river, or you can jog in HCM square.
- Which part of your town do you like most?
The most lovable thing that I've found in my city recently is that it's heart-warming. The whole city itself is
very familiar, local people are very friendly and kind and the atmosphere is fresh and peaceful. I am so in
love with seeing, enjoying and discovering the city. I see it as an adorable and gentle city

15. PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

- Tell me your favorite time of the year you like, Why?
My favorite time of year is spring. It starts at the end of December in our country and lasts till the middle of
March. The weather in Vietnam is the best during spring because you will not suffer from the excessive heat
of summer or the freezing wind of winter. On this occasion, We celebrate Tet, one of the most anticipated
holidays by the Vietnamese people. This is an occasion for pilgrimages, family reunions and many festivals.
Do you enjoy buying presents for people? Is it difficult for you?
Of course. It is delighted to prepare gifts for my friends and loved ones on special occasions such as
birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day,... The most difficult part for me is how time-consuming gift selection
is. I have to consider the appropriate present and what the recipients will like the most.
What was the best present you’ve received recently?
Oh, that's hard since I received so many valuable gifts. Well, if I were to choose only one, I think it'd be a
concert ticket for my favorite band called Blackpink. I couldn't believe my best friend gave me that concert
ticket as a birthday present. I was really taken aback when I got it. Oh wow, wonderful memories are now
flashing into my mind

16. DAILY LIFE

Do you prefer to spend your time for yourself or with other people?
Well, it depends. Sometimes I love hanging out with friends and we can go to a café or go to the park.
Sometimes I love being on my own doing my favorite things like reading books or listening to music.
Is your weekday routine different from your weekend routine ?
Yes, of course. There's a slight change on the weekend. I usually wake up really late on Sunday because I
just want to spend my weekend in my warm bed. On weekdays, my job starts at 8am so I get up at dawn to
do some exercises and prepare for work.
What do you look forward to at the end of the day?
That’s definitely when I come home from work and gather around the dinner table with my family. To me,
it’s a great time to have a chit-chat with family, surf the Internet, listen to music, or watch a favorite movie.
Seeing them after a long hard-working day can help me feel recharged, so I look forward to this time of the
day the most.
17. EMPLOYMENT
What are the most efficient ways to look for a job?
Currently, there are so many ways to find a job, but i think the best way is through the internet because it is
convenient and easy to look for. You can search whenever and wherever you want and consider carefully
before applying for a job.
If you had to choose between a satisfying job and a well-paid one, which would you choose?
Well, if i have to choose i would prefer a satisfying job. Because When i am satisfied with my job, i am more
likely to be productive, creative, and engaged. I am also less likely to experience stress and burnout.

18. VOLUNTARY WORK

- Why do people volunteer?
I believe each person has his or her own motives when signing up for voluntary work. Some want to offer
their help to people that are less fortunate in life, while others just look for memorable experiences. Oddly
enough, some individuals volunteer to earn certificates as a way of polishing their CVs, so they would have a
better chance of being accepted when applying for jobs or scholarships.
- Have you ever volunteered to help victims of natural disasters? Why or why not?
To be honest, I haven’t volunteered. As I said earlier, all those work-life things pretty much occupy my mind,
so I have never considered volunteering as a way of spending my days in the past. But as I know it has many
benefits so in the future i will try to take part in voluntary work.

PART 2: SPEAKING

TEST 1: Seeing a movie, going shopping or singing karaoke

Hi teacher, I have a Sunday evening out with my friends. There are three give options: seeing a movie, going
shopping or singing karaoke. From my point of view going shopping would be the best choice because of
the following reasons. The first reason it's a way for us to reduce stress during a busy time of work. The
second reason, it makes us happier because we can see many different and colorful items in the supermarket.
When it comes to seeing movies many people may choose to see movie because it's interesting but I and my
friends have different tastes in seeing movies and it’s hard for us to choose a common film. With regard to
singing karaoke, It is not suitable for us students like me. Therefore, I would say that going shopping would
be the final choice in this situation.

TEST 2: swimming, aerobics, yoga

Summer vacation is coming. You wish to take up a kind of sports to keep fit/keep healthy. There are
three kinds of sports suggested: swimming, aerobics, yoga. Which sport do you think is suitable for
you? Please state the specific reasons.

I would like to answer my situation. I wish to take up a kind of sports to keep fit. There are 3 given options:
swimming, aerobics, yoga. From my point of view, swimming would be the best choice because of the
following reasons. Firstly, swimming, which is a very interesting sport, can help me keep my body in shape.
Secondly, swimming can help me improve my health and reduce stress. When it comes to the other 2
options, I know that many people would choose aerobics or yoga because it’s interesting and exciting but as
for me aerobics is time consuming, moreover very tiring and yoga is boring and requires patience. Finally, I
would say that swimming would be the final choice in this situation.
TEST 3: Phuket beach, Dalat, and Sydney (Singapore, Dalat, and London.)

I would like to answer my situation. You know, My family members are going to have a three-week
vacation together. There are 3 given options: Phuket beach, Dalat, and Sydney. From my point of view
going to Da Lat would be the best choice because of the following reasons. The first reason Dalat is famous
for a lot of tourist attractions such as The Valley of Love, Xuan Huong Lake. The second reason the
weather is cool and what I like most about DL is the food because it’s delicious, cheap and diverse. When it
comes to the other 2 options, I know that many people would choose going to Phuket beach or going to
Sydney because they love to explore and experience new things but as for me those are such luxurious
places that I don't have enough money to afford yet. Finally, I would say that going to Da lat would be the
final choice in this situation.

TEST 4: a book, music show ticket, shooping coupon – birthday gift for friend.

Choosing a giving gift is art. If I need to take a choice for my friend’s birthday day present, I would choose a
book instead of/rather than a music show and a shopping coupon due to the following reasons.
First, I think a book would be more affordable than a music show ticket. It means I can buy a book within
my budget. And, reading a book is not only a mean of relaxation but also a source of knowledge
accumulation. (reading a book can help us relax and enrich our knowledge). For example, I have a close
friend who really love cooking, so when I give her a cooking instruction book as a gift on her birthday, (I’m
sure that) she will definitely be extremely excited because it can support her cooking skills for her daily
meal preparation. Also, I think it is a meaningful gift as whenever she uses it, it would remind her about me.
In contrast, if I buy a show ticket, it may cost me a lot. And I’m not sure whether it is easy or not to find a
ticket of a show or shopping coupon that matches my friend’s taste right on the date of her birthday.
In conclusion, although a ticket show and a shopping discount can be interesting options, a book should be
the best choice in this case.

TEST 5: a computer, a laptop, and a cellphone - son’s 20th birthday

I would like to answer my situation. You know, on my son’s 20th birthday, he wanted to get a present from
me. There are 3 given options: a computer, a laptop and a cellphone. From my point of view, a cell phone
would be the best choice because of the following reasons. Firstly, it’s so small and easy to bring. He can
use it to relax by listening to music, taking photos whenever and wherever he wants. Secondly, he can keep
in touch with family and friends even when there is no network. I don’t think a laptop is a good choice
because it’s too expensive and I think a computer is not suitable because it’s too heavy to carry. Finally, I
would prefer to give him a cellphone on his birthday.

TEST 6: criteria in choosing a job - salary, promotion opportunities, stability

I would like to answer my situation. A group of people are discussing criteria in choosing a job. There are
given options: salary, promotion opportunities, stability. From my point of view salary and stability would
be the best choice because of the following reasons. Firstly, an attractive salary will help them cover their
daily living and expenses. Secondly, stability is essential because in the midst of the complicated covid-19
situation a stable job helps them avoid unemployment. When it comes to the other options, I know that many
people would choose promotion opportunities because I think they have the will to get promoted at work to
have more opportunities to challenge themselves but as for me It doesn't matter if they have a chance to
advance or not because they won't have a chance to advance when they don't have a stable job. So I think
this is an unimportant criterion for them.

TEST 7: punishment, family control, public criticizing

I would like to answer my situation. You know, My teenage daughter won’t stop playing TV video games.
Her grades are getting worse and her teachers are very concern. There are three given options: punishment,
family control, and public criticizing. From my point of view, family control would be the best choice
because of the following reasons. Firstly, controlling her family helps her avoid playing TV video games
because her parents closely monitor her so she doesn't have too much time to watch tv. Secondly, she is in
the teenage years, the psychological puberty period is still changing, so controlling the family is essential.
And I think it would be better to have moderate control still so that she has such private time. When it comes
to the other 2 options, I know very few people would choose punishment and public criticizing because
Punishment for a child should not be because I think it is an act of violence. With regard to Public criticism,
It is not suitable for her because it will hurt her and easily lead to severe consequences such as depression,
low self-esteem in publichurts.

TEST 8: A bunch of flowers, a holiday, and a family party - Mother-in-law

You know, my mother-in-law is going to have a birthday party next Sunday. I and my husband want to give
her a surprise. There are 3 options: a bunch of flowers, a holiday, and a family party.
In my opinion, a family party is my best choice for many reasons. The first reason is I can prepare my own
cakes and delicious food for the family I love. Secondly, having a party at home is more comfortable and
affordable. Moreover, I have a chance to meet up with all my family members. I don’t choose a bunch of
flowers because they cannot be kept for a long time, moreover, my mother also doesn't like flowers. When it
comes to a holiday I think it is too expensive for me.
In conclusion, although a bunch of flowers and a holiday can be interesting options, a bunch of flowers
should be the best choice in this case.

TEST 9: a state-owned university, a private one or a vocational college

From my perspective, a state-owned university is the best choice for him because of the following reasons.
First, it’s a cheaper path to a diploma so he doesn't have to pay more money. Second, the campus of the state
university offers many social opportunities and a varied selection of extracurricular activities. So, he
will have a much greater opportunity to meet and develop relationships with many different types of people.
Finally, the public university is a great place to attend if you plan on working throughout your college
career. There are many options that allow students more flexibility both in and out of the classroom. He
shouldn’t choose a private one because it’s too expensive. Moreover, students hardly take part in social
activities. With regard to a vocational college I think it is not suitable for him. Vocational college education
students enter career fields faster compared to traditional college counterparts. However, many of these jobs
are of lower-paying positions. Therefore, he should choose a state-owned university to study.

TEST 10: Reading, exercising, and working in their gardens

I’m asked to suggest some different ways of escaping the stress and difficulties of modern life. From my
point of view, people should combine all ways of reducing stress such as reading, exercising and working in
the garden. First, reading can help people to relax their minds because when they read books, they can
immerse themselves in funny stories, so they will feel happy and comfortable. Secondly, exercising is (also)
a way to reduce stress. When people do exercise, some chemicals such as endorphins are released to help
them raise their spirits. Finally, working in the garden can help people have relaxing moments because when
they are close to nature, they can forget the hustle and bustle of life for a while.

TEST 11: buses, trains, or subways

From my perspective, they should invest in subways for the following reasons. Firstly, subways can be
really faster than other means of transport so people can save a lot of time,as well as their cash to travel a
long distance. In addition, it will be moderner with facilities like water, a map so that it makes people feel
more comfortable and convenient on each journey.

Second, it’s really environmentally friendly. In fact, Subways use only electric power so it does not emit
CO2 into our environment. Moreover, it can help to reduce the rate of congestion on the road because the
subway system only runs underground. Finally, there are many cameras and close circuit televisions in the
subway stations. This makes traveling in the subway much more reliable and safe, especially for women. In
my opinion, the choice of buses is not a point because they can cause traffic jams and may affect our
environment. Besides, I think that improving trains is not suitable because they can be costly to build a
railway system.

TEST 12: ao dai, lotuses, and the national flag

You know, in a beauty pageant, the candidate coming from my country is asked to introduce a cultural
symbol. There are 3 given options: aodai, lotus, and national flag. From my perspective, the lotus flower is
the best choice for her for many reasons. First, it’s not only the national flower of my country but Lotus
Village is also the name of Uncle Ho’s Homeland, the greatest president in Vietnam’s history. Secondly, it’s
a symbol of purity, elegance, and strength, which are the characteristics of Vietnamese people. Moreover, it
also symbolizes good people who are free from worldly attachments like lust or greed. So, whenever foreign
people see lotus, they might think about Vietnam and its friendly citizens. I don’t think aodai is a good
choice because each region in Vietnam has different clothes like aobaba in the south and Ao Tu than in the
north. So, that is not a good point.

Finally, I think a flag is not suitable for a beauty pageant because it is well-known by many people around
the world. Therefore, I would prefer to choose lotus flowers to introduce our cultural symbol.

TEST 13: Korean, French, and Chinese

Well, there are lots of cool foreign languages out there like Korean, French, and Chinese, each with its own
charm.
But let me tell you, if I were him, I'd totally recommend my cousin to learn Korean. It's way easier than
French, especially 'cause there are so many awesome Korean shows on TV, and with K-pop being so
popular, it keeps you pumped to learn. Plus, studying in Korea is way cheaper and easier than going to
France.
Sure, Chinese is also exciting, but it's a tough nut to crack, especially the writing part. I tried learning it
some years back, but I gave up 'cause it takes a ton of patience to get good at it.
So, no doubt in my mind, that Korean is the best choice for my cousin.

TEST 14: by train, by plane, and by coach

"You know, there are plenty of ways to get from Dang to Hanoi, like taking a train, catching a flight, or even
hopping on a coach. They're all pretty popular and have their perks, but if it were me, I'd totally go for the
train, no doubt about it.
I mean, compared to flying, taking the train is way cheaper, and that means we can save loads of cash to
spend on other stuff when we get to Hanoi. And the coolest thing about train travel is you get to see all these
breathtaking landscapes right outside your window, how awesome is that?
Now, don't get me wrong, the coach isn't a terrible option, but the thing is, it's just not that comfy. The space
inside is so cramped, you can barely move, and let me tell you, it's a bumpy ride for sure. I remember last
summer, I took a coach from Vinh to Ha Noi, it was a nightmare. Felt like I was on a wild horse, not a
coach! So, all things considered, the train's the way to go, hands down.

TEST 15: a pigeon, a peacock, and a swan

I would like to answer my situation. You know, If I could be a bird. There are three given options: a pigeon,
a peacock and a swan. From my point of view a pigeon would be the best choice because of the following
reasons. Firstly, the pigeon is a symbol of peace. Secondly, pigeons seem to fit well with my unique
personality. And it embodies my hopes and aspirations, my desire to fly freely to help my life and contribute
to my country. When it comes to a swan. Many people will choose to become a swan because it conjures up
the image of a graceful beauty with a somewhat vulnerable and fragile demeanor. I don't think it's right for
me.And if I were a peacock, I would have beautiful beauty. But because of that, I'm stuck in an exhibition,
losing my freedom. Finally, pigeons would be my last choice in this situation.

TEST 16: (4/11) a tutor, a waitress, and a shop assistant

If I need to make a choice for my friend who is a first-year student, I would choose a tutor instead of a
waitress and shop assistant due to the following reasons.
First and foremost, I think a tutor would be more flexible than a waitress and shop assistant. It means that
she can choose what days to work or where to work. In addition, although she works shorter hours, she can
get a better salary. It’s better for her to get money to support her life. Moreover, when it comes to a waitress,
i think she shouldn’t choose to be it because she has to work long hours so she will feel tired and with regard
to a shop assistant, it’s not suitable for her
In conclusion, although a waitress and a shop assistant can be interesting options, a tutor should be the best
choice in this case.

TEST 10: Put your bag, Move your, Talk - train alone
Actually, whenever I get on a train, I will move my bag and talk to the other people sitting next to me. In
fact, each train has a luggage compartment so passengers can put their bags here to give enough space for
the other people. Moreover, each person buys only one ticket. It means that they own only one seat. Finally,
I think that traveling by train will be really boring without talking during the trip so we can talk together.

TEST 17: fairy tales, picture books, and folklore

From my point of view, picture books are the best choice for many reasons.

First, they are really colorful and they can put a great deal of attention on the children, so children will feel
more excited to concentrate on the lessons. Moreover, the children at kindergartens probably can’t read, so
pictures are a great way to teach them. Another reason for choosing picture books is that children can
remember the lesson more easily.

I don’t choose fairy tales because they are not suitable for teachers to teach at school, but tell children before
going to bed. And I think folklore is too difficult for children to understand.

Therefore, I would prefer to choose picture books for children at kindergartens

SPEAKING PART 3

SET 1: Studying aboard

I totally agree that there are numerous advantages to studying overseas. First of all, Enhance knowledge and
experience: students are more open to new
knowledge. They will experience new culture as well as customs when living in a foreign country.
Secondly, Students become truly independently when living
far from their family, they are able to look after themselves and cope with their
own affairs or difficulties. Thirdly, with a degree from a well-known university in another country, people
can find a better job with a higher salary. Furthermore, they can learn a foreign language while studying
abroad so it's easy for them to look for employment in a foreign company when they return to their home
country. Finally, you can make friends from around the world. In conclusion, overseas courses offer learners
a variety of merits, namely job opportunities, language master, personal growth…
1.What are the qualities of a good student?
The qualities of a good student are being goal-driven, being responsible, and having patience.
2. What are some disadvantages of studying abroad?
Some disadvantages of studying abroad have some idea. Firstly, studying abroad can be expensive.
Secondly, may experience culture shock. Moreover, might get homesick.

SET 2: Parents as teachers

I totally agree that parents are the best teachers because of the following reasons. First of all, parents are
closer to their children. They are the first teachers who teach us to walk, speak and behave well. It is almost
for sure that since the beginning of our lives, parents have so committed to teaching their children.
Secondly, parents can understand their children's strengths and weaknesses because they are close to them.
Therefore, they know which is the most suitable for their kids. Finally, they teach their kids with love and
responsibility. They feel responsible for protecting their children from dangers. They will always be there
for their children no matter what happens. Besides, parents always love their children so much that they
have great patience while passing down knowledge to their kids. In conclusion, parents are the best teachers
because of their closeness, love, responsibility and their deep understanding of their children.

1.Do teachers sometimes teach things are not important?

I think everything has two sides, although parents are not the professional teachers and well-rounded
children will generally need a variety of teacher in their life in order to become adult, parents is the most
important people not the best teacher through my life.

SET 3: Reading habit

Reading culture seems to be forgotten because of modern technology. However, teens should engage with
reading for the following reasons.
First of all, the culture of reading allows young generation to widen their understanding. In fact, everything
they achieve from book would fill their head with new information.
Next, reading habit would be method to free adolescence’s mind. No matter how much stress they have at a
school, at home, in their relationships, it all just slips away when they immerse themselves in a great story.
Another good point of reading culture is the memory improvement it brings. When you read a book, you
have to remember characters, their backgrounds as well as their ambitions, history, etc. It is undeniable that
it is a good method to practice memorization skills.
Lastly, teens would improve focus and concentration through reading books. When they read a book, all of
their attention is focused on the story. As a result, their ability to concentrate would be increased.
To sum up, the youth should be inspired to read books due to the benefits it bring.

SET 4: Television has destroyed communication among friends and family

There is a heated debate about whether television has destroyed communication among friends and family. I
totally agree with this assertion, and there are quite a mixed variety of reasons to explain this statement. But
I guess the most prominent one would probably be the rise of the "couch potato" phenomenon, where people
become lazy and inactive due to excessive television consumption. The explanation for this could be that
television offers a sedentary form of entertainment that requires minimal effort, leading individuals to spend
less time engaging in meaningful conversations and activities with their friends and family. For example,
instead of going out for a walk or having a conversation at the dinner table, family members might prefer to
sit in front of the TV, leading to a decline in communication and interaction. Another compelling reason for
the elucidation of this statement would be that television can be seen as both a perfect tool for learning,
relaxing, and sharing, but also as a potential barrier to communication. On one hand, television programs
and documentaries can provide valuable educational content and serve as a platform for family members to
gather and watch informative shows together. However, on the other hand, excessive television viewing can
lead to isolation within the family, as each member might have different preferences and interests in terms of
what they want to watch. This can result in family members retreating to separate rooms or using individual
devices to consume content, thereby reducing face-to-face communication and connection

SET 5: Teamwork
There are many advantages to working in a group. Working in a group can create synergy among the team
members as well as increase both vision and efficiency within the group. By working together, the team can
generate more creative solutions to problems that they have. In addition, the companionship that is created
by working together as a team can create a good relationship among each other. Working in a group can help
us to accomplish the task in less time because more people are combined to complete the task by dividing
them into parts. For example, we have a large task that needs to be done; the team members can split the
task into small assignments then divide it to each of the team members. Hence, they don't have to waste
more time and brainpower to complete the task. Another advantage of working in a group is that unique
skills are combined and utilized effectively. Every member team has different strengths and skills.
Therefore, they can combine all the skills and strength to get good results in their task. For example, each of
the members has different kinds of ideas, and then they will combine it and get a good outcome in their task.
Teamwork also can build up a good relationship and unity. Relationships or (C2 is not gener. Friendship is
important to have good communication with each of the team estatement middle class members. Stronger
relationship will make the team members feel comfortable es in the economy relying on each other. Each of
the team members will also become more ork that a person doe a in responsible when doing his/her task
because team members depend on each other for success. Team spirit and trust will develop as they interact
and communicate with each other. Once a group of people have learned how to have the benefit of each
other and work together with the group, it is much easier for them to cooperate well in their group work.

SET 6: Không phải mọi thứ đều có trong sách

There are two primary ways for people to obtain new knowledge in an unfamiliar field, books and
experience. Some people agree with the opinion that books act like the most crucial role in gaining new
knowledge. However, from my point of view, I prefer to say that learning from experience outweighs books
as learning from experience is fast and solid. Books are, of course, the most important sources of
knowledge; they contain contents related to a specific field with detailed descriptions and abstract formulas.
Therefore, people who advocate reading books to learn new things often say books provide the most
convenient way to get to know cutting-edge knowledge. For instance, when a kid wants to study physical
rules, they don't need to set up an experimental environment to test the basic physical principles. But, I think
learning new things merely from the book is not very fast, and usually, people can't assimilate the hard core
of the knowledge. On the contrary, I prefer to study new things via experience, especially with experts in the
related field. So, knowledge gained from experience is usually more practical than from books. That is since
the experience is condensed from a lot of failures and is likely more applicable to solve some real problems.
For example, as a software engineer, solving the bugs I encountered is not mentioned in any book.
Therefore, to settle these challenging problems, I have to ask for help from my colleagues because they
might suffer the same type of issues before. In conclusion, learning from books is still a primary method for
people, especially young people in school. However, after graduating, gaining new knowledge from regular
work or a mentor's advice is the right choice for people who want to study faster and more practical

SET 7: BOOKS

I Think Books substantially impact every person's life because they offer them access to a world of
creativity, educate them about the outside world, improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills, and
hone their intellect and memories. The importance of books in our life cannot be overstated since they give
us a chance to learn new things and connect us to everyone else. Books also educate us as well as provide a
wide range of information. They serve as survival kits, affect us, and influence us. It's accurate to claim that
books are our real best friends. They are not only our friends but also our safe refuge. Books always ask us
for something in return. Whenever exhausted, tired, or disturbed, picking up a novel and trying to read let us
retreat to a new world free of issues and everyday tension. Advantages of Books:

- A Book Could be Your Very Best Friend, Reading Opens Up Your Imagination, Another essential element
in comprehending the relevance of books in our life is the premise that they represent one of the most avant-
garde artistic mediums. Books Help You See the World Differently, A great book can alter how you think,

Emotional and Mental Development. Reading has a wealth of mental and physical advantages, which is
another reason to consider the significance of books in our lives. Books Can Be Inspiring, It is common
knowledge that ideas may appear in the most unexpected locations. Here between the book's flaps is,
however, one ludicrous location.

Budget: People who enjoy reading widely could be tempted to spend a lot of money on books. Create
Stereotypes of Ignorant People: While maintaining a balance between your hobbies will be ideal, this is
only partially negative. People often assume you are a nerd or a super-intelligent person when you read. If
you're usually seen sitting alone with your books, some people might assume you're an introvert. It Might
Result in Procrastination: Some people use these books as an excuse for laziness or escaping reality.

different people. Some people may experience perplexity as a result of information overload. Health
Problems: Reading habits can lead to health problems. It could also result from unfavorable reading
circumstances, such as spending a lot of time sitting still or utilizing a poor light.

Nowadays learning on the Internet has become increasingly popular because of its great benefits, especially
to students. In the first place, online learning is very convenient. You know, students can study whenever
and wherever they want. Only with a mobile phone or a computer connected to the Internet, can students get
access to a rich source of information on almost any subject. Secondly, it is very affordable to study online.
Well, students can do research using online resources at very low cost or even at no charge. Many websites
provide free access to an abundant source of information while others offer online courses at a very cheap
cost which might be just a part of traditional courses. Moreover, because students can study at their own
place, they can save time and money to travel to traditional classes. Last but not least, online courses are
more interesting thanks to the application of technology. It's true that technology is a powerful tool to
engage students. It can make students more involved in the lessons due to the combination of sounds,
images, games and so on. In conclusion, studying on the Internet brings considerable benefits to learners.

classify, there are some variety of websites that provide them with some fascinating information related to
