Discussion on process optimization, data management, fraud prevention
strategy, and business model for ilumina’s OPD cashless ecosystem.

Points Discussed:
 Minimizing Human Efforts in Doctor Onboarding & OPD Visit
Intimation:
- Discussed ways to reduce manual efforts in onboarding doctors.
- Explored a mechanism where patients can proactively inform us when
visiting a doctor for OPD consultation through the application.
- Post consultation, our backend team can verify these visits for record-
keeping and validation purposes.
 Doctor Database Collection & Verification:
- Decided to utilize tools like Scrapmaster to extract doctor data from
NMC, UPMC, Practo, and other relevant platforms.
- The backend team will be responsible for cross-verifying the data to
ensure accuracy and authenticity.
 Wallet Integration in the App:
- Discussed the integration of a digital wallet within the application to
streamline payments and manage transactions smoothly for patients
opting for OPD consultations.
 Fraud Prevention Strategy:
- Reiterated that the primary objective of this initiative is to combat fraud
within the insurance sector, specifically targeting the OPD vertical.
 Area-Wise Doctor Data Collection:
- Emphasized the need to collect and organize doctor data area-wise using
pin codes.
- The data will highlight the number of doctors available in regions like
Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Meerut, Gurgaon, Faridabad, and other
cities/states where we have a presence.
- This dataset will serve as a reference for insurance companies to
demonstrate our coverage.
 Future Data Utilization:
- The compiled area-wise and state-wise doctor data will be maintained for
future reference to showcase to insurance companies the strength and
distribution of our doctor network.

 Creation of Terms & Conditions Document:


- it was discussed and confirmed that a formal document or Terms &
Conditions will be created stating that the software and services
provided by ilumina will remain free of cost to doctors — both today
and in the future.

 Revenue Model Clarification:


- Clarified that ilumina will not generate revenue from patients or doctors.
- Revenue will exclusively come from partnerships with insurance
companies and TPAs for managing OPD services.
 Vision for OPD Cashless Ecosystem:
- Shared the long-term vision that in the next five years, cashless OPD
services will become a mainstream practice.
- ilumina aims to pioneer this space by ensuring quality healthcare
through reputed clinics and hospitals becomes accessible to all,
irrespective of their income bracket.
 Focus for the Next Three Years:
- Agreed that for the next three years, ilumina will exclusively focus on
building and scaling OPD services.
- There will be no plans to enter or cover IPD (In-Patient Department)
services during this period.
