BIG AXOLOTL
Notes: (Read Before Beginning!)
In order to successfully crochet this no-sew pattern from top-down, you must follow the

R15 [attaching the arms]: In this round, you will sc around while joining the two arms
with 2 sc each, by inserting your hook into both the arms and the body at the same time.
Depending on where your eyes are located on the amigurumi, you’ll want to join the
arms so that they are to the sides of the doll’s body. Follow the instructions below for
placement:

6 sc in the back half of the doll, 2 sc for one arm, 6 sc for the front-center of the
doll, and 2 sc for the other arm. (16 sc total) [Photo 1]

R16: (Sc 3, inc) x 4. (20)

R17: (Sc 4, inc) x 4. (24)

R18-R19: Sc around. (24)

1. Attach C2 yarn to the outside loop of the first ch made in Part 1. [Photo 9]
2. (Insert 2 hdc, sl st) in each outside loop on all three tendrils, repeating it around.
Note: It’s okay to just sl st in the loops at the crevices of the gill, because it’s hard to fit
the hdc there.
