An organ is a group of tissue that works together for a
specific function.
The five sense organs of our body are the following:
Eyes for seeing – it tells us the color, shape , size,
quality and quantity of an object.
Nose for smelling – it tells us whether an object has
pleasant or unpleasant smell or maybe odorless.
Ears for hearing – we can tell whether it is loud or
soft sound ;pleasant or unpleasant sound.
Tongue for tasting – tells us the taste of the food
whether they are sweet, sour, salty or bitter.
Skin for feeling/or touching –it tells us the object’s
texture ( hard/soft) or temperature ( hot/cold) . This sense
of touch lets us also feel physical pain–a necessity for
avoiding injury, disease, and danger.
The sensing organs associated with each sense send
information to the brain to help us understand and perceive the
world around us.

-The sense organs are the body organs by which
humans are able to see, smell, hear, taste and touch
