Cotabato Provincial Hospital: Eva C. Rabaya, MD, Mba-Ha

A narrative report details a 71-year-old male patient who presented to the emergency room with respiratory symptoms and was initially managed for a lower respiratory tract infection. Despite no signs of rabies, the hospital took precautionary measures including contact tracing and vaccination for staff, as well as implementing routine inquiries about animal bites for future admissions. Additionally, a supplemental budget request was made to cover increased medical expenses due to a rise in patient admissions and necessary supplies.
