HARDFACE HC-O
Highly alloyed steel with hard phases -> Metal cored wire for Self-shielded Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW-S)

1 GENERAL INFORMATION
EN 14700 : T Fe15

• High chromium cast iron deposit containing a high proportion of hard primary and eutectic chromium carbides (M7C3 type) in a
tough austenitic matrix
• Suitable for hardfacing components subject to extremely severe abrasive wear and moderate impact
• Relief checking of the deposit is normal
• Usually limited to two layers unless impact loading is minimal
• Multi-layer deposits are possible in specific applications
• Used for hardfacing components experiencing wear from earth, sand and abrasives
